If anyone knows a little about Virginia Tech football you know how much this song is adored there.

☝️ That's the actual best, but it's not my favorite.

THIS is my favorite intro.

Lol I was just looking at VaTech Enter Sandman videos earlier today.

As someone else stated, there are many.  I could do a whole page just on Rush and Van Halen.

There is something special about this one.  Plus, it’s fun to play.

"Let's Go Crazy" and "Enter Sandman" are top notch choices.

Let's bring in some favorites from 90s/00s EDM...

it's a shame the Orbital song doesn't go nearly as hard as its intro

I'm avoiding Van Halen songs because (1) I'm trying to cancel out my massive VH fanboyness and (2) you could pretty much just point to their entire discography.

Well everything until Haggar

Here's a song intro you've heard a million times before.  It's made it's way into everything.

The Clash was the first I've heard of it, maybe they got it from someone else.

It's far from their best song, but this one is a wee bit iconic:

EDIT:  @locodos posted The Clash at the same time

Yeah but we're both still wrong...  Know Your Rights...  great intro and great intro song to a seminal album.  At a time when people listened to albums in song order.

This is a public service announcement.. with GUITAR!

Man, I just can't do Van Hagar.

You only gotta listen to the intros. 🤣

But uh yeah... Ted Templeman's bio was... eye opening.
