  • Uh, the other thing being when Binney enters the match Spears sits on the bench. That's even bigger to me than replacing Swindle, and I love both Swindle and Kahahawai.  I think there's something

yep. aggy controls their own destiny now. We have to win out and hope that they lose one somewhere.

If UK beats us Sunday, they are the favorite. Would have wins over us and aggy

Nebraska is a machine this year.

Wisconsin lost their starting setter to a dislocated shoulder, and haven't been the same since. But the same could be said for the Big 10 as a whole not named Nebraska. They're still crushing it.

I haven't gone back and counted how many Big 10 teams have made it to -20 against Nebraska, but it hasn't been many. Most of the sweeps - and they're ALL sweeps in conference play - have been absolute guttings, topped by their 25-6 win over the defending national champs PSU in Happy Valley. Making it to -22 is practically a win against the Cornhuskers at this point in the season.

Texas needs to beat aggy in football to avoid being swept by them in all of our fall sports.

None.  11 sweeps and nobody within -20 so far.  The Big 10 is absolutely down this season but that's still impressive.

We lost in 5 on the road to a top 10 team. The sky is not falling.

Pick up and win Sunday

We could have (easily should have) won set 2…so it’ll work out.

At least we can stop worrying about why we’re not #1 . .

rather lose now though then in a few weeks . Team hadn’t been performing their best and it caught up to them.

Who was worrying about not being #1? Nebraska has been a juggernaut. On paper we don't come close to matching up. Nobody does. Good thing the matches aren't played on paper.

This is the biggest match of the season. #2 versus #3. With Florida falling off, and A&M not quite there yet, these are the power daddies of the SEC. Texas won the head to head last year, but Kentucky won the conference.

They have a freshman setter from Katy, TX, the "best left pin duo in the country" (we'll see about that), a 6'6 tree in the middle, and some great back court defense. They're one of the best serve receive teams in the country. Texas has their work cut out for them today. I'd love to come away with the victory in Gregory. Very much like what we'd see in a regional final/Elite Eight type match.

You can say what you want but ppl were definitely worry about why we weren’t #1 but oh well who cares.

I think the youth of this team is starting to show but hopefully it doesn’t last long

Ugly.  I hope we're not planning to try for another reverse sweep

People on this board but that's about it.  They're probably a bit biased.

No there were some who thought bc of our super tough non-conf, we had a outside shot of being #1

But that’s out the window so whatever

Their serve receive into their offense right now is awesome.  We only have a handful of points on our serve.

Swindle just isn't good except for blocking.

She’s a pretty good setter but not a good blocker
