Nathan Johnson for Texas Attorney General

Attorney General Ken Paxton has abused the office for his own personal and political interests, and – following orders – to light destructive partisan fires. Under his control, the office has been corrupted and abused and debased, while its powers to do good have been wasted.

I’m sick of it. And I’m betting that the people of Texas are, too. They do not want more of the same.

It sucks to feel dumb. Navin Johnson didn’t run for ag in the movie, the Jerk, which I had to double check, because that would place DON’T TRUST WHITEY is an understandable context with the name. Not that the warning isn’t currently trenchant. And the ad/image/meme is quite funny. A bit satirical. Possibly effective.  Care to shed more light on this image, sir?

If this is your work, you have my respect reluctantly, because cynicism is salty and the wounds remain raw.

I just thought it would be funny if his name was Navin Johnson instead. Because if so, it would be a crime against humanity to not build his platform on those three mighty pillars. Hell, I'd buy one of everything in the merch store. So I found an online campaign poster generator and here we are. Also, I may have been a little stoned.

Finally, some diversity in that office ...
