Complete thread fail. The actual LLWS field has yet to be set. In the southwest regional Texas east is that Lamar LL from Richmond and Texas West is Midway LL from Waco. Waco is like a new hotspot for baseball, Midway HS won state in baseball and softball this past year.

As others have pointed out, this is for the Junior League division (14U) World Series. Cool, but there is a pretty big drop off after the actual LLWS which is the Majors division (12U).

Still, kind of cool that most of the team played in Williamsport in the LLWS in the Majors division a couple of years ago.

With that said, personally I don't care unless it's a Texas West team.

If that is the worst mistake, I've made this week then I've done pretty well.  Our youngest and last daughter was in the process of moving and this the article caught my eye just before we were leaving.  Thus, the quick post.  But it's cool.  I tell my kids to always swing for the fences.  Continue the roast and I'll make some side dishes.  LOL.  Peace out.

BTW, Today is the first Saturday the wife and I will wake up without one of the kids living here and a long time.  We will be going out for dinner tonight and returning to a clean haus and no girl drama.  BOOM!

Little League International should have opened up an office in Trump Tower like FIFA did to avoid this problem.

My kids have been through with baseball for years now and maybe I'm misunderstanding, but are you saying the best 12u (and younger for that matter) talent is playing Little League with no leads etc rather than Perfect Game or whatever the most prominent travel ball governing body is?

No. I am saying that the talent within Little League International tournaments drops off after the Majors division or what is usually referred to as the LLWS. It's pretty common for travel players to play on a travel team and a Little League team just for the All Stars tournament and the dream of playing in Williamsport. That doesn't happen as much after the Majors division. There is a huge exodus of players and talent once they age out of the Majors division.

Little League All Star teams unlike travel teams are limited by league boundaries so there is no comparison.

Watching some regional games on ESPN+

Every player on the Connecticut team last name is 12 letters at minimum

The Oklahoma team just got in trouble for cheating and their meathead manager is about ready to fight the umps.

Lowell disagrees

So the Oklahoma kid on 2nd base got caught relaying signals to the hitter. Bases loaded nobody out. They had been caught earlier in the game and warned. The ump calls the runner on it then leaves the field to meet with the tournament director. After a 10 minute delay the ump comes back and decides not to eject the manager or call out the baserunner.

Next batter up hits a grand slam to give Oklahoma a 5-4 lead in the 5th

12 hitter for Midway ties it up with a 2 out RBI double in b5

5-5 going to the 6th

So Switzer’s son is coaching and grandson is on the bases?

What a game.

I love the LLWS.

Always watched with my dad before he passed and I continue to watch.

The quality of play in the last 10-15 years has improved incredibly.

Love it that they are showing the regionals now too.

Oh, and one of the best things about it is it means college football is getting ready to start.

That is great man.

Cherish it because time goes by so quickly.

Why in the fuck am I getting a “This channel is not part of your package “ message when trying to watch the Texas East game?

Everything else works.

I have been watching all day! I love this time of the year and kudos to ESPN for covering both baseball and softball.

Texas East ties it up vs. Oklahoma team. 4th inning.

Modify that. Texas scores again. They are up.
