And people will trash it on plot or whatever...who gives a fuck. Give me the best visuals you can, along with the best action set pieces you can find in any movie, and I'm in. Avatar movies are a spectacle...and event. I'll be there opening night.

July 30Jul 30 The photorealism they can achieve in something 100% digitally-rendered still impresses me. See this in IMAX if you have a chance. I enjoyed Way of Water on first viewing at Alamo, but seeing it at Bullock was on another level. That’s where I’ll be for this one, for sure.

Dune 2 was incredible in IMAX as well.
September 29Sep 29 I don't care what anyone says these are visual spectacles that have to be seen in 3D and preferably IMAX. Fuck the story. The Acting(which isn't bad) or anything else...the man can throw up a visual masterpiece
Monday at 01:10 AM3 days Interesting this hasn't had a comment since September... Caught it just now at the Bullock IMAX--it's LONG. Amazing spectacle and no one does 3D like Cameron. It's worth the price of the admission in this venue but I'm not sure it's spectacular enough otherwise to warrant theatrical. I prefer the first two; better, more digestible screenplays.
