Out of all my acquaintances it's the Tech fans with a couple exceptions that have been talking the most shit.

If they somehow look good and prepared against equal or better talent I'm gonna have an aneurysm

I can't imagine caring this much if some other team is good or not as an adult human being.

  • just like we all predicated five years ago, it’s steve sarkisian and james franklin leading the top two teams into the college football season.

Some of you just love being miserable. The fucking rankings mean nothing right now.

The G5 is not the enemy and kicking them out to make way for the sixth place SEC team that doesn’t need the cash infusion to stay afloat is short sighted and makes college football worse, not better .

Fuck G5.  They don’t belong in the Big Boy playoffs.  Make an NIT-like tournament for them and one of them can be champs every year instead of never.

The NIT is actually for the big boys who aren’t at the top of their conferences and the real dance extends auto-invites to champs of mid-major conferences. Because David v Goliath is actually a fun story and people like it. Because sometimes a 14 from a tiny conference knocks off a number 3 from a power conference, just like how G5 teams won 4/11 NY6 bowls and will one day be the best part of the CFP when they win a game.

I really think most people don’t actually like college sports. Or rather, artificial consensus has been manufactured by sports talking heads who are reading a script.

If I was ever given the opportunity, I'd like to attend a game at JMU.  It is very scenic around the stadium and campus.

I just figured it'd be SHSU or Richmond as the opponent.

Props to Charles Haley too.

Wow, I'm tempted to put a significant bet on UGA.

They've been tested way more times than Ohio St or IU, and they just avenged their early season loss by 21, against another playoff team.

Plus they get the calls that Bama used to get
