Us being #1, then out of the poll, and back to #10 says more about the idiotic polls than it does about us imho. It was stupid that we were dropped out of the top 25 when it happened. Just as stupid as ranking us #1 with a new stasrting qb among others. We never should have been out of the top 25 and shouldn't have been #1. But I wonder if that's ever happened before. How about we start 1, fall out, and finish 1. Edited November 9Nov 9 by UTexasFight

I bet Lane could give a shit, but pretty interesting that a 11-1 team might not make the conference championship. If A&M loses to us they are out for Ole miss or Georgia depending on how we do against Georgia. Assuming everything else goes chalk.

Not Georgia/TCU embarrassed, but they would lose by 2-3 TD's. They're definitely a tier three team. I thought that before yesterday. Having to beat a coachless Penn State team in the last 40 seconds gave me pause though. Maybe the Big 10 isn’t as strong as it seems.

November 9Nov 9 How many fanbases (including ours) are asking themselves today how Indiana managed to create such a great program in less than two years? They brought in a bunch of unknown transfer players and when I watch them, I am amazed. They swarm the ball carrier, they protect the passer, they are really fundamentally sound and they win! Yesterday, they had a backup WR making amazing catches throughout the game. A no-name white-guy backup who looked like Randy Moss. So happy for them but the hell.
November 10Nov 10 Tech fan may be more insufferable than aggy when they are winning. They arent used to it and have no idea how to act. Like a toddler with a new toy.

Not only are they extremely well coached, but he’s created a winning culture. You need both, and they have it. November 10Nov 10 We are already ranked above every single ACC team. They aren't going to lose a game and pass us.
November 10Nov 10 I would do this for this week: 1 Ohio State (1) 2 Indiana (2) 3 Texas A&M (3) 4 Alabama (4) 5 Georgia (5) 6 Ole Miss (6) 7 Texas Tech (8) 8 Oregon (9) 9 Notre Dame (10) 10 Texas (11) 11 Oklahoma (12) 12 Utah (13) 13 Vanderbilt (16) 14 Georgia Tech (17) 15 Miami (18) 16 USC (19) 17 BYU (7) (AP #12) 18 Michigan (21) 19 Louisville (15 - AP #19) 20 Iowa (20 - AP #29) 21 Pittsburgh (24) 22 Missouri (22 - AP #27) 23 Tennessee (25) 24 North Texas (NR - AP #28) 25 Illinois (NR - AP #33) --- NR Virginia (14 - AP #20) NR Washington (23 - AP N/A)
November 10Nov 10 BYU is 5 spots behind a team they beat and their loss is allegedly better. That's what I hate about the rankings.

November 10Nov 10 How can BYU fall so after losing to tech? That's almost on par with our drop in rankings to Florida. So either tech is a bad loss, or something is up. No fucking way do they go from #7/#8 to #17. That's absurd. Yes, I see the #12 AP next to it, but good lord that's just incredibly dumb. It can't be both ways. Either the loss to tech was a loss to a good team and they shouldn't plunge, or the loss to tech is horribad, hence why they dropped like a turd after Christmas dinner.
