That A&M team that high is laughable.  I tried to offer Aggies watching the game yesterday an open bet with 10 points for the Texas game.  No takers.

The voters clearly don't watch the games. If they did, they'd know that white knuckling it against a bad team with the worst QB in P4 is not grounds to move up to no. 5

  • just like we all predicated five years ago, it’s steve sarkisian and james franklin leading the top two teams into the college football season.

Some of you just love being miserable. The fucking rankings mean nothing right now.

Penn State at #7 is fucking outrageous. What the hell have they done to be ranked ahead of us?

Arch's performances against SJS and UTEP (especially utep) killed all confidence in Texas' offense.  One solid performance against Sam Houston isn't going to make that go away.   If he has solid outings against Florida and OU, we'll start getting the love again.

Florida has allowed 16 points per game against probably the toughest schedule of anyone this season. If Arch lights it up Saturday, people need to stop being gaping vaginas and move on.

Unranked? A&M has one of the softest SEC schedules. They’ll be top 15 coming into DKR.

We know how the A&M roller coaster works, but that really won’t be applicable this year. I see them losing at Missouri and maybe at LSU. That’s really it.

It is like none of you have ever watched A&M. I give State a decent chance to upset them at home next week.

Projected to beat Ohio State…..I guess!

Gaping vaginas? He was objectively stinking it up. Anyone not alarmed was a gaping idiot.

Tighter love holes for the win.

I mean minus the “early setback” we are still right on track with the games they have in October

I could not disagree more. The rank prior to yesterday should not matter at all. Bama beat Georgia. Since their records are identical, we need no other data. I don’t need a poll to tell me who the better team is - I saw it with my own eyes.

And I see that the AP poll did get it right. My initial response was to the posted poll with UGA still at 10

Guess you missed where I said if fortis is 10 and bama 11 why weren’t they flipped since one beat the other.

Sho is aggy losing to?  Their schedule is dog shit ducking any team with a pulse until is

Mizzou.  LSU in the death valley(they have a legit defense).

they could lose to Miss St if the run the ball Enough.

He made a pretty sweet throw yesterday for a 70 yard td between two defenders. Place perfectly.

Nah. State shot their season's load yesterday.

Nah they’ve been better this season.

not saying they’re win but we’ll be comparing the game they play and we play against them.

Penn State’s best data point is a home loss to a lower ranked opponent that they had 9 months in which to prepare. They have the shittiest resume of anyone even close to the top 10. If they aren’t severely punished for being the bitchmade piece of shit molester program that they are, the whole system should be abolished.

A - That escalated quickly

2 - Yup

I'm shocked he has us that high honestly.  he said last week we'd need to beat Gator and Sooner first before moving up.

Once every 5-10 years they manage to lose less than 4 games, overreact and give all the moneys to the coach because they are certain everyone will poach him.

Kind of crazy to think in the pre-season poll Texas, PSU and Clemson were all...in the Top 4

We’re not only going to end the season unranked but also ineligible for a bowl

..,and schedule suntan gonna get any easier.

Want to be ranked? Don't play like shit. Simple.

We are soft. We were over rated. We deserve this. Wake the program up.

Maybe our Minister of Culture can give the team a pep talk.

Ya know, something like this.

Massey Football Rankings has us at #35. Pretty generous.

The parity this year is something. I think OSU, Oregon, and Miami are the three top teams but they aren’t juggernauts and I can easily seem them slipping in the CFP.

The next ten, put them in a basket and shake them up. Just as good as trying to rank them. I think Alabama is going to be the buzzsaw no one wants at the end of the year. GT likely doesn’t look awesome against non—ACC powers. ND could sneak in if they rack up style points and will also be a tough out.

As I get older, these message board meltdowns are consistently more entertaining than actual college football.

Well done, everyone.

Fuuuu.. tech tards are just as insufferable as aggy right now. They are seriously insecure tumbleweed trash.

Expected. They both look like playoff locks.

A&M with a towering win over #16, 2-loss ND and now Mississippi State at home = top 5. They just about have to be ranked that high because they're undefeated and that's the way to polls and rankings work. Who knows how good anyone is?

What a weird, crazy year. I thought it would be fun when it looked like we would be in the scrum. Alas, we're floating with the scum.

But, let's not make any changes and stay the course.

Right now aggy looks like they lose in Atlanta and then have an earlyish exit in the CFP.

That could change if they aggy up their three road games following Florida. Hell, they might aggy that one up, too.
