Nutting up and dominating. That’s what.

holy shit that was insane. He did get screwed on a strike called ball 2 that would've been the 3rd strike I think. a batter or 2 earlier

He got a couple of calls to go his way as well. It all evens out.

That kids fav athlete is Ken Griffey jr who retired before these kids were born.  Just wild

Some of you all shitting yourself over what a bunch of kids playing baseball like clearly have never been around youth baseball much.  They're 12, they like what their parents like, and their parents all probably happen to be (checks notes) late GenX/early millennials.  Ya know the people who came of age when Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Ken Griffey etc were kind of big deals.

Surly: kids today don’t watch good movies or know any of the greats

Also surly: omg no way these 12 year olds like Ford, Hanks, etc!

The floodgates have opened.   That center fielder made an amazing catch 2 innings back too

7 runs on 2 outs.  This is like watching the Texas rangers in the 9th lose

I’m guessing Easton must donate a shit-ton of those bats to the LLWS teams. Great marketing as every kid will want one at $349 a pop.

Easton is the LLWS equipment sponsor and provides all the equipment to the players and yeah it's an excellent marketing strategy. It's been my experience that whatever Easton equipment is used in the LLWS kids show up the following season with the same gear.

I think it was around 2011/2012 when Easton debuted their Power Brigade bats and one of my son's went into "I want that" mode with the Power Brigade XL bats while watching the LLWS. He was always a fan of the gear he saw during the LLWS.

Unreal Hawaii fucking lost.

Also, today I learned that Honolulu Little League is literally the only little league in Honolulu. It covers the entire city of 350k people. No wonder they always do so good.

That's not actually that bad although I assume they have a much higher participation percentage than highly populated metro areas in the contiguous 48 just because travel is obviously not as big of a thing. My local league has a similar total population in our boundaries but probably a fraction of baseball players participating in LL compared to Hawaii.

pretty dumb to leave a pitcher in who can't hold it together and is crying because he gave up a run

This. At least go out there and settle that dude down. It was 2-0 with two outs and the kid was acting like someone put his dog down

CT is a mean team.

Rooting for Aruba! Long shot but why not.

Upset of the tournament!!

Fantastic bottom of the 6th right now

Oh shit, game tying walk

So much pressure.  It’s admirable how well these 12 year olds handle it.

Bottom of the 7th is getting interesting

SC tying run at 2nd, winning run at 1st, still no outs

This pitcher's lead foot points all over the place with his release.

6-5, still loaded, 1 out

Winning run on 2nd

that was crazy.  plate was pretty tight but I guess it was both ways.

Venezuela got fucked on that call. Bases loaded, 1 out, fly ball to short left. Left fielder snow cones it against the ground, throws to second and doubles up runner. Replay clearly shows ball was out  alas the play is not reviewable. Aruba gets out of inning.

Is Irmo the luckiest team in LL?  Isn’t that the 2nd or 3rd game down by multiple runs in their final at bat to win and move on going back to lake Mary game

wow. Nevada gets a ball on what should've been called strike 3 looking, then belts a 3 run go ahead homer next pitch.
