Holy Fuck he LOVES Sam and per that comment he just made anyone thinking shane ever sniffs the field can shelve that idea haha.

I know Herman loves Sam. I just don’t see it on the field.

hermon response to Chip - “ I bet you’re less liked by the fan base than me.”

"Momentum is an illusion."

Wow.

Maybe his belief in this is why our team never bothers to create any.

For instance, we had a good illusion going with the hurry up and run game against Maryland, but gave it up bc I guess it's not real.

CDC probably told him he needed to be less of an asshole or slipped in some sedatives

So the goal was not score more points in the 4th? Wow. We went turtle against big bad Tulsa.

LOL wut?

Surly:  Fuck you, Tom, for putting out a shitty product and that smug douchey look on your face!

Tom:  You guys are the best!

His a dick for lots of reasons, but that isn't one.

Sounds like they're saving tempo for other opponents?  Maybe I'm just thirsty for kool-aid.

We don't have the luxury of saving anything for anyone at this point.

I'll feel the love when you start winning at Texas like you should Tommy

You should post more. Your having to use that avatar is shaping up to be the best part of this football season.

This guy has made Tulsa seem like the toughest defense ever in the history of football. I'm telling you, he's Mack Brown.

Without the wins.

Did he lose a bet?

Yep, lost a bet to closetojumping. I think it was the number of recruits signed this last class, but at this point all that matters is that maninblack loves Greg Davis enough to use him as his avatar.

hold on, i missed something.  mib you're sporting GD because "you have to?".......

So it appears the question this week is if our defense can have few enough "off" drives for us to win the game 17-14 or something like that. It's shaping up to be a lot like last years game in Los Angeles.

We are missing the outpouring of stats but otherwise seeing a lot of similarities in how he answers questions

Well....he did GA under Mack, so there's your answer.

Q: Sam shat the bed against USC last year. How are you going to keep him from shitting it this year?

A: I am not going to talk to him about that. He wants to go 1-0 this week. I'm gonna let him.

Sorry Tom, but one rush for zero yards won't cut it against USC.

24 hour rule to celebrate our wins...LMAO.
Sad the kids only get 36-48 hours of celebrating the remainder of the season.

I like it.

Supposedly smart people often make logical decisions. Sometimes the right answer isn’t the logical one.

Anwar: Why don't you run more tempo, stupid?

Tom: There's a sense of rhythm, so. And you don't want to make players tired.

SO I GUESS NOBODY RUNS TEMPO

There's a sense of rhythm, but momentum is an illusion.

Mack was 10-4 at this point in his coaching career at Texas.  He luckily had the heisman rb during his first year of coaching.  I'd argue our record could have been better last year had Foreman stayed but I digress.  What was fun checking Tom's record vs. Mack was getting to re-look at the 1999 NC State game that we lost.  Don't do it.

Considering the opponent this week it's a sad state of affairs that there was only 1 or two questions about the upcoming game.

Heads up every DC we face for the rest of the season: study Tulsa's amazing goalline front bc apparently our highly paid offensive brain trust has no idea how to defeat it.

If it's the response I think you're referring to he was talking about not using tempo in the 4th vs. a series in the 1Q.

Answering questions where every answer is nitpicked sucks. If you do it long enough with a hostile press, you will fuck up.
