September 11, 20187 yr Slash, Alice in Chains, and Keyshia Cole are all playing in Phx Saturday night in different venues in the same general area. I'm struggling as to which to attend. I need help.
September 11, 20187 yr Tough call. Slash is great, but I don't know about his solo shows. AIC was great, but without Layne? Everything I've seen from Keshia Cole I've liked, but that's a different vibe. I went with Jerry Cantrell.

September 11, 20187 yr Neither, for the reasons outlined by jimmyjazz. If I lived in Phoenix and wanted to see some live music, I'd probably go to this: http://www.thetrunkspace.com/calendar/2018/9/14/indie-500 Might be cool. Probably will be mostly horrible. But sounds interesting. Edited September 11, 20187 yr by irishtexan
September 11, 20187 yr AIC. Duvall is a great replacement. He can sing all the old shit without sounding like he's performing karaoke.

September 11, 20187 yr I love AiC and think William does a great job. I've sen them three times with him. I've also seen GnR about 7 times and Slash w/Miles and The Conspirators as well...I personally would go to the Slash and Miles show because I honestly was surprised he is touring with them again after all the time spent (and money made) with GnR the past few years. It's an awesome show and Miles is a great singer, even though Slash is the focal point. AiC tours pretty steadily and you can probably catch them the next time around...just my .02
September 11, 20187 yr I don't know about Saturday, but on Friday I vote for the NIN w/The Jesus and Mary Chain show.
September 12, 20187 yr I’d go Slash & Myles because I’ve never seen them and I’ve seen reincarnated AiC a few times.

September 12, 20187 yr Author Should have stated, I've seen both. And both were bad ass. I'm leaning toward Slash. Because he's fucking Slash. But Jerry Cantrell though. By the way, wanna hear some sick Cantrell tone? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqQkECIn738 Edited September 12, 20187 yr by tbone_
September 12, 20187 yr Went with Slash because Alice in Chains doesn't exist and I could probably only hang with Keyshia Cole for about 2 songs. Maybe.

I saw AIC with the new guy back when he first joined, and it was one of the best shows I've seen. So I go with AIC as well.
September 12, 20187 yr It took me a while to get into AIC, but when I did, it was the vocal harmonies and guitar work that did it. The songs were OK . . . plenty good, really . . . but those harmonies. I assume that's Cantrell.
September 13, 20187 yr I saw AIC in Tulsa on Monday night; terrific show; lead singer sounds a lot like Layne, but it doesn’t feel like he’s trying to do an impression.Last night was the first show of The Slash/Myles tour. Only one GnR song in the set list: Rocket Queen. I’m going to see Slash next Friday night, but if I had the choice, I’d see AIC again.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
September 13, 20187 yr Nope, encored with a world premiere song and Anastasia. Slash says he played GnR songs enough during their tour. I saw GnR last year, but I’d still like to hear those songs with Myles. Going to be some pissed Okies at the casino next Friday night. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
September 13, 20187 yr Author Yea wow. I saw him play with Myles a few years ago, before any talk of a gnr reunion. Played tons of guns.
