September 14, 20187 yr Saturday - 2:30 in Stilly. I'll be there. Who ya got? My heart of course tells me we got this, but I'm terribly worried about this game.
September 14, 20187 yr Author I don't know man. Multi-year starter QB and seniors all over the place on offense and defense for Boise scares me. We've shit the bed against much lesser opponents.

September 14, 20187 yr I gotta admit, 2:30 seems like a surprising window for this game. This has "give me something worthwhile on a Friday night" written all over it. It probably is one of the more intriguing matchups tomorrow though.
September 14, 20187 yr Author Yeah I think it's one of only 2 or 3 games that has two ranked opponents. Boise currently #17 and we're #24.
September 14, 20187 yr I like OSU at home. But I'm often wrong about football, so you should be very worried.
September 14, 20187 yr Panel of ESPN folks mostly took Boise, FWIW. Most had it close and high scoring. I'm interested to get a look at OSU against a team with a pulse. They have the talent to win going away but Boise is sneaky.Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
September 14, 20187 yr My hope is that this will be the STFU about Boyzee state game and the Pokes roll.
September 14, 20187 yr Boise State has come out this year firing on all cylinders. Really the first time this has happened in the Harsin era. Look at the Troy game last year compared to this year. And against Washington State the last couple years and losing to Virginia last year. It's a world of difference for 2018. That said, I still have reservations but I hope the Broncos can pull off the W.

September 14, 20187 yr Wow, I just took a peak at OSU's schedule. Win this and they are probably 9-0 going into OU, WVU, and TCU to end the year.Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

September 14, 20187 yr I'll be there but I have no confidence we can win the game. Our offense simply has not looked good. The numbers are misleading because we were playing teams without a pulse. Interceptions and bad long passes, letting a few big plays get by with our starting defense, and most concerning is that our offensive line looks mediocre at best. I think it'll be close and could go either way. If it's a big margin, I think that means BSU has exposed us and won big. Oh well, I'll be drinking and I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this season anyway. So at best these guys come out swinging and win big and I'm super happy, or we lose and I'm happy enjoying good beer.

September 14, 20187 yr We picked off Will Grier 4 times last year in Morgantown. I think that would be our best shot at a late season upset. I think anyone could lineup at QB for OU and Reilly would find a way to shred our defense. It happens every goddamned year. I'm pretty sure OU had a third stringer slinging it in Stillwater a few years ago after injuries and we still lost, per usual. Edited September 14, 20187 yr by 'stache
September 15, 20187 yr Kudos to these teams for scheduling this game. These are two of the most underappreciated teams in the country and it should be fun to watch. Boise State is good folks. They've won more games since 2000 than just about anyone, and this is one of their best teams in years. Seniors everywhere. It wouldn't surprise me if the Pokes pulled it out, but I suspect the Broncos leave Stillwater with a W.

September 15, 20187 yr Last I read was the line at -2.5 Pokes with 74% of the money on Boise. The key difference to me is the Boise qb actually throws a pretty deep ball. Corndog throws it like Case McCoy.
September 15, 20187 yr It's unfortunate we get them in what will likely be our first down year in a while. Oh well, hopefully it's a good game.
September 15, 20187 yr I’m going to this game, figure it will be a close, well played game. Didn’t realize it was the same weekend as the USC game in Austin when I bought the tickets, and was bummed I would miss that game until Maryland happened... now glad I’m going to Stilly. September 15, 20187 yr Defensive slugfest! ...after 2 possessions....where each side had a dropped pass.
September 15, 20187 yr This OKST quarterback certainly ain't Mason Rudolph. He’s not even Maya Rudolph
September 15, 20187 yr That was a nice downfield pass. Maybe a tad short, but Wallace was so open it didn't matter. And better a tad short than a tad long. OSU RB's look unstoppable in space. I've criticized Yurcich, but those little screen passes, getting the RB's 1 on 1 with a defender are working great today. TD Justice Hill on a determined run. 7-7 first quarter. September 15, 20187 yr OSU went all in the punt block and got it. Cowboy ball at the 7 yard line. Edited September 15, 20187 yr by Monster
September 15, 20187 yr QB punches it in from the one yard line. OSU capitalizes on the punt block. 14-7 OSU
September 15, 20187 yr Great catch by Johnson to keep the drive alive. Boise St was not expecting all these QB runs. OSU down inside the 5 yard line again. edit: kicking the field goal. 17-7 OSU Edited September 15, 20187 yr by Monster
September 15, 20187 yr I like that we're getting to their QB. Our offense hasn't looked great though.
September 15, 20187 yr OSU defensive line in the Boise St backfield every single play. Really liking the new Defensive coordinator for OSU. Aggressive and knows how to use OSU"s underrated defensive line. 17-7 OSU at halftime. OSU gets the ball first in the second half. Edited September 15, 20187 yr by Monster
September 15, 20187 yr Boise st. had 41 points at halftime in weeks one and two. (first week was against Troy, who just beat Nebraska) Boise St. has 7 points at halftime in this game. Still early, but it would appear, OSU's defense is much improved with the new coordinator.
September 15, 20187 yr There's the overthrow that costs you 7 points. Nobody anywhere near Cornelius and the WR was wide open. That hurts. And then Justice Hill runs for 40 yards...which is called by on a hold. Edit: Cornelius with a dart on the run. He definitely throws better on the run. Edited September 15, 20187 yr by Monster
