August 24Aug 24 stfu dude. Yeah this Stanford team you've been watching all night needs to call timeout so they can march the field in 20 seconds.

We were about to run it in and just take over the game and they decide to pass. Stanford is going in if they keep running and put the game away. Why pass, it cannot be answered that is the similarity. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_Big_12_Championship_Game Edited August 24Aug 24 by DanTheHorn
August 24Aug 24 Bad teams, but pretty good game. Hello there to the chick leaning against the back wall directly behind the goalpost
August 24Aug 24 Remember when we would always lose recruits to Stanford? Seems like a billion years ago now.

Also it's a constant beating on here the way some of Texas' worst losses are constantly brought up completely out of context. Did Hawaii's QB fumbling the ball and Stanford recovering for a TD remind you of Texas' CFP semifinal game against tOSU last season?

August 24Aug 24 In the early football video game days we had 4 passing and 4 running plays, with QB Bills. The golden play was to snap it to Frank Reich. I will root for his interim success in the rest of the games until Thanksgiving.
August 24Aug 24 Dearest Mother, We lost the battle but I’m afraid the war is already lost. I have no faith in my field general; he is ass, my dude.

Well unfortunately it is the worst losses that come to mind when one watches a team do something utterly stupid that reminds one of the same stupid shit our coach did to cause that huge loss. Ten plus years from now if we are still around when a team runs a sweep that get stuffed that cost them the game you will see some of the same posts that seem out of context.

But at the same time . . . you didn't want to give your offence even the opportunity? You know and I know that if Stanford gets the ball back on its own 25 down 3 with :20 left to play, the sequence is going to be Incomplete; Incomplete; Sack. So it probably doesn't really matter. But isn't there a 0.01% chance that one of those incompletions is actually caught and he dude runs at least into field-goal range? And isn't that better than the 0% likelihood of winning that you have with taking those TOs with you to the locker room?
August 25Aug 25 Author Or they drop the interception, and Stanford has one more shot. You assholes made me do this.
