September 2Sep 2 I'll be in for later Maybe post this link on the football board somewhere to get more traffic
September 4Sep 4 I knew I was forgetting one of my degenerate traditions surrounding football. In with my annual donation.
September 7Sep 7 Author i've done a terrible job keeping up with payments i have received over the past week, but rest assured if you sent it to me i'm sure i have it. I am traveling today and tomorrow and will try and update my list to ensure that everyone in the contest has paid for it by the middle of this week at the latest. if you are in the pool and haven't paid, let me know how you want to do so and i will get you the info. @TexasGary I will send you Paypal info right now.

September 12Sep 12 I cant speak to this pool, but splash sports has some new week 2 survivor pools, both small and large. They have one $10 contest with a pretty big overlay currently considering its a guaranteed $10000 pot. I may just jump in on Sunday if they dont get a ton more entries. I've never really paid attention to these second week contests so I dont know how full they get by Sunday.
September 12Sep 12 Author i don't think there is a way to buy back in to this one. i'd be all for it, but i'm not sure espn allows it. i'm going through my records of payments and it looks like the only one i need to know about is Hook 1997. whoever that is, can you let me know if you paid?
September 20Sep 20 Surely there will be some upsets tomorrow. Way too many of you assholes still alive in this.
September 21Sep 21 5 entries go down with the Packers. 4 entries are on Seahawks who are cruising against the Saints, and one TBD (presumably the Chiefs).
September 21Sep 21 Was thinking bills and not wasting the packers, then thought, no, the packers are a sure thing, better to get to next week at least I made it past week one unlike the last two years

October 1Oct 1 Software don't lie...if it lets me keep picking, I'm in. Don't worry I'll botch it soon enough
October 3Oct 3 That’s some crap because I’ve lost two years in this league on a tie…. Oh well three more out with the Rams tonight.
October 3Oct 3 Author i guess espn changed their rules on the tie thing. also, i fucking told myself to avoid the Thursday night games at all cost early in the year and i still went ahead and picked the Rams last night.
October 6Oct 6 The picks are are about to get a lot harder. I almost used Arizona vs burning the Lions.
October 6Oct 6 Author i couldn't bring myself to pick the Cardinals so I went with the Rams instead. nice to see I would have lost either way.
October 8Oct 8 I'm still in a pool where you pick a loser every week (cant pick the same team twice) and we lost 71% of the remaining entrants last week. Patriots and 49ers each took out a quarter of the field. Bloodbath week. I'm not in a position to worry about hedging anytime soon, but with a $10K purse, I just realized that I cant take the same approach as a survivor pool and bet the moneyline on a huge underdog against my survivor pick. No easy hedge when your loser pick is the huge underdog.
October 14Oct 14 Good luck then to the survivors. Tough week to not have GB available, though they almost blew it too. I had WAS but would've probably gone with DAL/PHI or some other loser anyway.
December 7Dec 7 Off topic a bit but this was my survivor pool this week 1069 IN. 12,229 OUT. 58 DQD. 704 BUCS, 145 BROWNS, 43 BRONCOS, 38 SEAHAWKS, 38 LAMBS, 25 BILLS, 22 DOLPHINS, 17 IGGLES, 14 RAVENS, 10 CHEFS, 8 PACKERS (from the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field), 3 COMMANDERS, and 2 lone wolves throwing deep with 1 COWBOY, 1 JAGGYWIRE.
