18 years old, plays like a college senior, even looks like a senior. Hope he stays around long. He will be in the Thorpe discussion if he plays like he did against USC all year. I hope he plays big against TCU and OU and gets recognized nationally. Anyone know if he made any bad reads or missed assignments? Can't blame him though for being a true freshman.

"He will be in the Thorpe discussion" and "can't blame him for being a true freshman" shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

And if ET vs. Berry was any indication I doubt they are super willing to hand out that award to a true frosh.

Sorry. Meant to add Thorpe discussion next year. And next off season.

Machinator from Orangebloods.com?

I like the quote Orlando made about Sterns on the news the other day. Something about having to drag him away from his playbook when study sessions were over.

I saw Caden Sterns drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's.

His hair was perfect.

Caden Sterns is the best safety already that we’ve had at Texas since Earl.

Caden Sterns is the smartest man alive

Bears repeating

slams and goes hard in the paint

he's at the same level as Earl Thomas and will be remembered as one of the all time UT greats, if not the best ever on the 40.  I see him as a top 10 NFL pick, hell he's good enough to make the NFL right now.  Worth 14 points at least in today's game.

The read on that second pick was unreal. He'll leave here (probably in three years, unfortunately) as one of the all-time Texas greats.

Obviously settled the DBU debate all by his lonesome

Ridiculous numbers through 4 games..

All those upper classmen DB's on award watch lists just got put on notice.

Still no Leon O'Neal. (Snicker, snicker...)

Who?

He’s our best player on defense.... as a freshman.... unreal!

Babers called him wolf on the radio. Said he had some wolf tatoos.
Bad mutha fuckers have caden sterns name on they wallet

So got damn good. Still can’t believe Herman pulled that secondary class. With the way the old guys and new guys are playing, recruits gotta know this is DBU. Get on board before your spot is gone.

Where does he rank amongst best freshman in the country? Looks like we’ll only have him for two more seasons

On the interception he broke #1 , Reager ?, ankles with a cut back.
