May 5, 20223 yr If Nick Rose kicked in the league, Dicker should be able to hang on too, especially since he’s a really good punter too. Hook ‘em
May 15, 20223 yr I could see a team using him for punts and kickoffs and then having a FG specialist. He has a really strong leg and his touchback% was always good but his fg accuracy was always pretty mediocre.

May 16, 20223 yr He’s an ideal punter/kick off specialist, because he can Fg Kick in a pinch if there is an injury, or you need a 60+ yarder late.

August 7, 20223 yr Am I missing Dicker in the last 2 pics or are supposed to be looking at the big asses?

August 15, 20223 yr With his skills, he will be in the league for many years. What an asset for a team having a player that can do both jobs and do them well.

Yep, there’s quite a bit of value in having a player that can do both. You can use that extra roster spot in a lot of different ways

He got a 37 yard punt, not bad.

Danny White, 1976-88 166 610 24,509 40.2 73 74 144 5 34.1 I was just about to bring him up. I remember one year when Danny White was injured or benched or something -- I'm guessing 1986 -- but while the backup (Gary Hogeboom, I think?) played QB, he kept punting. And on one 4th down punt situation, White looked up, saw a wall of jerseys running away from him, so he just limped his way to the 1st down marker out of bounds. Didn't help an otherwise shitty season though. Edited August 16, 20223 yr by Rimbo
August 16, 20223 yr IIRC, they were really good until White got injured. I think they had the best offense in the NFL until then.
August 16, 20223 yr Not sure who you’re questioning, but... https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2022/08/16/rams-riley-dixon-cameron-dicker-roster-cuts/
August 16, 20223 yr Really thought his punting/kicking combo would have given him a leg up. (Putting myself in timeout)
August 17, 20223 yr Popular Post Smart move by Dicker to avoid a 6 figure NIL deal to stay at Texas for one more year and continue being slightly above college average while slaying pussy in order to enter the NFL draft. I don’t care if a fucking agent is dumb enough to think that you can get drafted, you are 21 or 22 years old and getting plenty of input from other informed people, so know better.
August 17, 20223 yr Really thought his punting/kicking combo would have given him a leg up. (Putting myself in timeout)Bering mediocre, at best, at two things is far less valuable than being above average at neither.

I may have to pull out a pen and paper to sketch out a diagram of this. Or is this one of those things where you were supposed to start with “Confucius say…”
August 17, 20223 yr Bering mediocre, at best, at two things is far less valuable than being above average at neither. He’s not either of those. His punting and kicking stats last year are top 15 in both categories.
August 17, 20223 yr He’s not either of those. His punting and kicking stats last year are top 15 in both categories. Stats schmatz. He was below average after the OU kick. Missed way too many makable FG to be considered a legit NFL PK. Seems like a good dude though
August 17, 20223 yr He showed a lot more promise as a punter than a place kicker. He might have an NFL caliber punting leg. He's just too damn inconsistent to be a place kicker in the league.

August 27, 20223 yr … kicking for the Ravens. Not the best place for job security. But, John Harbaugh built his chops as a ST coach … so, he could provide a valuable reference for a job opportunity somewhere else.

August 28, 20223 yr Hopefully his agent is on the phone with Buff already. Quote The Bills released punter Matt Haack, the team's punter in 2021, on Monday, naming Araiza the team's punter for the 2022 season. The team currently has no punters on the roster. Quarterback Matt Barkley punted four times for the Bills against the Panthers.
October 9, 20223 yr Amazing, Jalen Hurts just said in his post game interview, “Dicker the kicker, from UT” with a smile.
October 9, 20223 yr Hate the iggles, but Hurts just called out, "Dicker the kicker from UT" in his post game interview. Good on Hurts and way to go Dicker.
