I am pretty sure they didnt have a TO, they used their last TO on the 3rd down run by the  WKY QB.   the graphics showing 1 TO left were wrong.  and the announcers were too stupid to recognize that they were out of TO

I'm rooting for WKU simply because of all the La Tech fuckups. They've missed 2 FGs, holder got killed on another, & had a PRTD called back on a hold that affected nothing.

I've always debated this. A hold is a hold, whether it affects the play or not. And where then becomes the dividing line for making the call? Pure discretion of the re as to whether it would affect the play or not?

Went down a Wikipedia worm hole of Western Kentucky.  Jack Harbaugh coached them to a championship in 2002.

Agree, but it does affect the momentum.  A penalty at the right time could determine the final score, thus making some Vegas scoundrel a ton of $$.  Officials could probably call holding on any play they liked. Same as it ever was.

Man, I'll admit it's hard to watch teams that I have no.imvested interest in, but football is football, so I'm pushing through.

As long as they're not blowouts, usually can't complain too much. Quality ain't exactly Ohio St v. UGA, but that's fine.

Yep.  Way better than a baking championship or Hallmark movie.  I usually think of the games in terms of how their feel about it.  These are someone's kid, brother or nephew.  So it is important to them, plus the game is TV.   Gotta give 'em credit for trying and playing the game.

These games hopefully stay close.  When it’s a Wednesday night game and a blowout….  That’s pretty unwatchable.

Like I said earlier, teams having a hard time closing out the half.   Blue Hens may have left too much time on the clock to prevent a Mid Tenn score.  FAFO.
