Somehow I’m rooting against Alabama here which means as a Gator fan I want FSU to win.

feels dirty

me too. I just naturally felt myself hating Alabama more at that moment.

Watched the ASU game for about 45 minutes. Nice to see how involved the students were for this game. Sloppy play, but Leavitt’s receivers missed several good throws. Good game for an opener against middling competition, but the line play has to improve quite a bit. Nice to see Tyson back and with a big game receiving to start the season. We go as far as those two take us.

UCLA is not good.

Nico was probably a downgrade vs the guy that went to Tennessee.  I hope they're at least paying him less

It's a shame they can't get a smaller stadium somewhere near campus.

Based on the early returns, this seems correct. Aguilar looked very good yesterday and is a much better fit in Heupel’s offense.

Your defense looks like fucked butthole.

I wish it were that good.

Fun to root for the underdog too as shitty of a season they had last year. They did ball out and put it on Alabama, hopefully that means they keep norvells dumbass and Gus Malzon leaves after this year. Castellanos is a baller but I’m not sure if he’s healthy by the Florida game anyway he isn’t built to run as much as he does all season.

Yeah Nico seems like he doesn’t even open the playbook and every play he just improvises whatever in the moment after the snap.

kinda guessed that would happen, he’s fast and has pretty decent pocket feel. Horrible QB overall tho.

ez money even with the sacks

Gorgeous day here just for everyone to be trapped inside. Maybe the roof is open.

well that was an interesting sequence.  that throw by the VT QB was awful.

That’s a fucking TD for Carolina. Another bullshit overturn TD like against LSU last night

Before they even started talking about it on TV, they showed the first replay and my immediate thought was "not a catch." close as fuck, but I agree with the overturn.

Damn VT receiver has to lay out for that one

Yep, it was one hell of an effort though

It’s frustrating seeing other teams’ receivers make plays

It's frustrating seeing fans reach conclusions about a particular part of the Texas team after only one game.

You should also take into consideration that the QB who was throwing the ball to them in that one game had significant accuracy issues -- 37% of his passes were incomplete according to ESPN, the highest percentage of inaccurate passes in a game by a Texas QB in the last decade.

Arch will get better.  The WRs will get better.  Try to avoid ledges above steep drops for the next week or so.

These 2 teams are normally pretty boring to begin with…but this games living up to the snooze fest billing

You don’t enjoy seeing guys act like they won the Super Bowl after every routine tackle?

I was about to post that if this game was in mid October and there was anything else on, I would be flipping channels post haste.  Then that happened.

Damn a WR getting over the top of a defense .

if only. . . .

That fucker’s fast.  Like real fast.

Intercepted, runs it back 30 yards, gets popped at the end.  Ball is in the exact same spot it would have been if he just knocked it down to the ground.
