Miami and Nebraska BOTH suffering upset losses would make for a pretty fun Friday

It'd also make Texas agriculture and mechanical a 3rd ranked team. I can't live in that world. I don't give a shit about roller-coasters.

Louisville lost to UVa, I see.  I'm surprised; they fly to the ball on defense.

i'd say jack trice is a pretty goddamn good reason to continue hating minnesota

and that high surrender-index play of punting on 4th and under a foot at the 50 means the football gods are now angry

I'll see your Jack Trice and raise you Tom Osborne with a side of Lawrence Phillips. Jack Trice shit is completely fucked but Gopher hasn't spent the past 30 years shitting on my university and it's athletic program.

Meh. Want every team ranked highly to lose. We gonna need a lot of help if/when we drop another

The ACC top to bottom is complete shit. I mean, it's better than the Pac but.. thats a pretty low bar.

Lol.. yeah I forgot that story and confused it with some other shit. I'm regarded and this is news to nobody.

meanwhile #2 ranked Miami is still losing to L'ville.

We need everyone in the top 25 to keep losing

Its just the ACC meat grinder man, they beat each other up every week.

Or something.

You were thinking of Jack the Ripper.  Easy mistake to make.

Exactly!! You get it.

Man, I’m telling you — the ACC is just different, alright? Week in, week out, every team is in a dogfight. You can’t take a single Saturday off in this conference. You look at a team like Boston College, for example — they’ll go toe-to-toe with anybody. I mean, sure, they’ll lose by 17, but they were right there for most of the first quarter, and that’s the kind of depth I’m talking about.

You go down the list — Wake Forest, NC State, Pitt — these teams are battle-tested, man. Nobody’s safe! Clemson can’t even beat Duke anymore, and that’s not a knock on Clemson, that’s just a testament to how loaded this league is with teams that finished 5-7 last year.

Every game is a war. You think you’re gonna roll into Syracuse and come out clean? Buddy, you better pack a lunch, because you’re leaving with emotional scars and maybe an L. These teams don’t rebuild — they just kind of stay the same for decades, but like, dangerously consistent.

And don’t even get me started on Miami — the U is back, again, for like the ninth time this decade. That’s what makes this league so special: everybody’s back, all at once, perpetually. Florida State looks unstoppable… right up until the fourth quarter against Georgia Tech, and that’s the beauty of it. Anyone can beat anyone — which sounds good until you realize it’s mostly because nobody’s all that great.

People talk about the SEC being tough — nah, in the ACC, parity is king. Every Saturday you’re guaranteed a thriller between two teams that will both end up in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. It’s just that kind of conference, man. Iron sharpens iron, or, you know… slightly dull spoon sharpens slightly dull spoon.

Awesome, much rep!

i mean holy shit.... what the fuck are the refs not looking at, when the receiver is being turned around while trying to catch the ball.

The refs of the Louisville @ Miami game are routinely marking the ball a yard short of where the player went down when Louisville has the ball.

Then the refs let ridiculous P.I. go uncalled on first down.

Fortunately Jeff Braun (sp?) is a smart & wiley coach.

Yeah it was blatant and right in front of the line judge, but I guess it was "hard to see".
