I fucking hate the idea of a logo on the field; we're not some poor ass school.

If we're going to do it, may as well go all out.

Especially when it involves partnering with an Austin-based company that started as UT research. What starts here changes the world.... This sponsorship is an easy way to highlight the university as a whole, to help a UT friendly company gain visibility, and, with that increased visibility, foster what could be a very very lucrative partnership for years to come.

It was NOT started at UT Austin, rather it was started at UTHSC (I’m presuming Houston) so it’s being advertised as a creation of the University of Texas system.

Their Medical Director, Dr. Yousef Elyaman, MD isn’t even licensed to practice medicine in Texas (licensed in Florida) and got his MD at a medical school in the Dominican Republic. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a cross-specialization in Pediatrics.

Maybe they’ll sponsor a whole bunch of schools and start their own conference.

But what would it be called??

UTHSC = The University of Texas Health Science Center, in Houston, Texas

Thank you, Dr. Red Duke, for saying it at the end of your medical stories every time, for Channel 13 KTRK news in Houston.

I add concentrated Beet juice to every alcoholic smoothie I make.
Can't taste it at all!

I don't remember why I do it but it was on the advice of a naturalist I trust.

Concentrated beet juice can be a beneficial addition to your diet. It's packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and studies suggest it may help lower blood pressure, improve athletic performance, and potentially protect against certain diseases.

Obviously not a fan of on-field sponsors, but at least this is a corp founded by UT researchers and launched out of the university. Not many other universities can say that. Plus the product seems to have already been used by the AD for awhile.

Sponsor link to UT is a plus? Cool. Start the countdown to a press release about renaming said AD Chris "Dell" Conte.
