Being a three-time survivor myself, I would be glad to offer him advice on what helped me thru the battle.

I do have a problem donating money to a guy that had even a three-year NFL career though.  I met a ton of people that had nothing during my time in the Texas Medical Center and would be much more inclined to give to one of them than a former professional athlete.

I paid hospitals for twelve years so this request kinda rubs me the wrong way.

But I do hope for the best for him and hope he can avoid side effects while kicking cancer’s ass and ripping its spine out like Predator.

Fuck cancer.

They lowered the screening age to 45.  They need to drop to to 40 or 35.

I was 39 for one day when I got diagnosed.  It was pretty obvious I had already had it awhile.

Hell, I think Chadwick Boseman was 38 or 39 when he was diagnosed Stage 3.

Colon cancer took my step son 14 years ago...he was only 36, and left behind a 6 year old daughter.  Fuck cancer.

I don't care about his finances.  Fuck cancer, and I'm pretty sure Sergio is the type to truly fuck cancer.

Honest question: other than this tweet asking for money, do we have any confirmation that Sergio actually has cancer and/or that this donation would go to him?  Really don't know how easy it is to verify on gofundme.

Matt Stepp is a legitimate media source.

First Of All How Dare You GIFs | Tenor

Had a good friend in college that battled this shit off and on for a decade from his early/mid 30s until it finally caught up with him in late 2020, leaving behind a wife and 2 kids....fuck cancer indeed.

Sack that cancer's ass Sergio

As always, I would recommend that if you donate online, that you do it with extreme caution. Better yet, don't do it.

GoFraudMe.com is replete with scammers and just because someone shared that link on X and GoFraudMe "guarantees it" (see below) does not mean it is legit. This one has been set up by someone claiming to be Becky Rader, whoever that it.

I do not donate unless I know the people personally and I would NEVER donate on GoFraudMe.

I do wish Sergio the best.

The first donation was Mac McWhorter and the top donation looks like it was Orakpo. I think it's legit.
