I can't wait to see Crump and Judd accompany Lee as real threats from beyond the arc Honestly, Preston, Crump, and Judd missing time is probably good for this team long-term. Lee is developing a real penchant for scoring in their absence. She went for 22 last night with only two three-pointers. Booker went 4-12 and we still won by 15. Huge leaps from Lee, Carlton, and Preston (when she returns) might be what pushes Texas to the top this year. Lee’s sophomore leap has been awesome

She has started every game this season and is shooting 41% from behind the arc. she's playing with fire and probably should retire for her own good. I posted an article from a syracuse paper a while back outlining her eye issues. It's good to see her doing well at Syracuse, but she didn't have a future at Texas.

The eye thing sucked and she wanted a fresh start. Or to follow Johntay. Whatever Love this version of Lee that has blossomed without her

This team expects to be playing into April. Get healthy for SEC play Vic mentioned in the presser after the game that none of the injured would be cleared for Wednesday’s game, but he seemed hopeful for Saturday’s game. I’m guessing the one closest to being ready is Preston.
December 8Dec 8 And I think it was Fran that mentioned Preston and Judd were shooting during shoot around. It's going to be interesting if Judd's first game is against MO. I hope it's before that.

December 11Dec 11 Author Graves is already in the game in the first Q Texas leads 33-12 after 1. Only concern is RGV 3-5 BTA Edited December 11Dec 11 by Js1
December 11Dec 11 Author Texas leads 70-20 at half. Ended the half with Prenter and Graves on the floor at the same time Texas 64% shooting and 4-7 from three RGV 30% and 3-8
December 11Dec 11 I'm going out on a limb and saying this one is over.:) Texas could not shoot another shot and just play defense and win this thing
December 11Dec 11 Vic's walking that fine line between humiliating his UT system sisters and watching his own ladies miss layups because they're wearing oven mitts.
December 11Dec 11 Author Texas wins 110-45 5 players in double figures, two with 20+ (Carlton 21, Booker 28)
December 11Dec 11 I love Vic in the postgame line. Comes across as genuinely encouraging our opponents, players and coaches alike. I've heard some coaches do it to subtly tamper with players they covet, but I never feel that's what he's doing.
December 11Dec 11 Author Sidberry didn’t play God, can we get someone back before someone else misses another game?
December 11Dec 11 So now we have 4 players (Sidberry/Crump/Judd/Preston) who are out. Graves and Prenter may have to get big minutes against Baylor. Hopefully we get one or two back for Baylor but I'll believe it when I see it.

Tonight's TV crew seemed puzzled that Texas has been drubbing people but continues to give several players huge minutes. Well, it's not too hard to figure out when you look at team health.

December 11Dec 11 Author Lee (34), Booker (33) and Harmon (27) actually got to sit some, but not as much as I'd like. Shoutout to Prenter (16) and Graves (15) for some run, but I would have been happier if each of them were closer to 20/22 minutes, considering we were up 50+ the entire 2nd half. Even without our backup PF (Sidberry), Carlton still only played 29 minutes. A better split between Cunningham (20) and Oldacre (26) would have been nice, but Breya had 4 fouls. For the love of God, somebody, anybody, come back by Sunday. Edited December 11Dec 11 by Js1
December 12Dec 12 anybody know what sections UT fans are sitting in @ the baylor game @ Dickies arena Sunday? TIA
December 13Dec 13 Author Vic’s PC said Sidberry will be back Sunday. But that’s it. Others “close” and “soon”
