Vic needs to answer the questions and explain what’s going on with Crump and Preston. If I wanted nothing answers about injuries, I’d watch the Astros

Vic supposedly didn't have issues with injuries at the other places he has coached, but it has been an injury epidemic since he got to Texas

It's impressive how quick her hands are and how well she sees the court. Opponents seem to be shocked when she makes big plays, but we no longer are.

I will never forget watching her rumble down the court and finish against TCU. And moreso bc she stole it from Prince

Did they really say a video review shouldn’t take long? IN BASKETBALL??

2nd video review in just 5 minutes. Both reviews resulted in long media timeouts

Never been such thing as a “quick video review” in college sports

Except in/out in VB. Thanks Hawkeye

UNC still getting way too many easy layups but Texas out to a 63-45 lead

Maybe I'm being charitable, but perhaps part of the reason why UNC is getting so many layups is because Texas can't allow themselves to get in foul trouble due to our non-existent depth.

Getting through the gauntlet of UCLA, South Carolina, and North Carolina with just 7 players is insanely impressive.

PVA&M Sunday and then at UTRGV on the 10th.  Need Graves and Prenter to play most of the 4th in those games

All leading up to our last ranked team on 2025, Baylor on 12/15

But we still have to go to SDSU too. We need to get healthy

LSU has 51 points at halftime against Duke. Duke hasn't given up 100+ since 1998. LSU hasn't score under 100 all year. So far, advantage swamp thing

Especially since they fell behind 17-3 over the first few minutes.

LSU continues with the soft schedule playing 3-6 Duke
ND was up 29 – 14 in the first quarter and still lost to Ole Miss.
Hidalgo still looks like a 6th grader.
Lattimore with 7 points (2 for 6) and 4 boards in 29 minutes for Ole Miss.

It speaks to the level that Vic has the program that we handily beat the #11 team while missing 2 key players and it feels like we just took care of business.

One of the announcers yesterday was basically in awe (and very complimentary of Vic and our team) that we beat 3 top 11 teams with a 7 player rotation and Rori, Book and Lee barely coming off the floor.

It was nothing but "this team lacks guard depth and just beat UCLA, South Carolina and UNC in 10 days" and "when they get their 3 key pieces back in the rotation, this team will be even more of a contender"

I'm so excited to get Preston, Crump and Judd back for SEC play.  Just really need to weather this for about 4 more weeks - we start SEC play Jan 1 at Mizzou.  If we get just one of Lee/Crump back before Baylor, that will pay huge dividends for our guards getting to take a break.

Still no updates on any of them?

No one was bitching at Bre for jumping up and down on the sidelines all game, so I would guess she is very close. She could probably beat half the team down the court in that boot anyway.

No clue. Chip’s update on the 21st said 2 weeks or so and today is 2 weeks since then. So maybe she will be back Sunday or the RGV game?

Good for her

Spoiler

But FUCK ME. I can't wait to see Crump and Judd accompany Lee as real threats from beyond the arc

Honestly, Preston, Crump, and Judd missing time is probably good for this team long-term. Lee is developing a real penchant for scoring in their absence. She went for 22 last night with only two three-pointers. Booker went 4-12 and we still won by 15. Huge leaps from Lee, Carlton, and Preston (when she returns) might be what pushes Texas to the top this year.

I hope at least one is back soon because, even though they're playing great, this feels unsustainable and the harm of continuing it could be felt in March. It didn't look like they had any dead legs last night, but that shit can happen at any age if they take things too far.
