I do volunteer work for Beto's campaign (surprise!). I get called a "libtard" on a regular basis and get a lot of responses that are just "#MAGA!" and the like, but I also hear a lot of "who is Beto?"

Yes, won Williamson in EV. Don't know if any more has reported aside from that.

Dear CNN, your gray counties on the map blend in with the blue counties to colorblind viewers.  GRRR.

So, it is interesting about Voter Turnout.

Texas in 2016 - 8.9M Votes

Texas in 2014 -  4.7M Votes

Texas in 2012 - 8M Votes

Texas in 2010 - 5M Votes

Texas in 2008 - 8M Votes

Texas in 2006 - 4.4M

Texas in 2004 - 7.4M

Texas in 2002 - 4.6M

Texas in 2000 - 6.8M

To put that in perspective, according to NYTIMES, there are 5.9M votes in Texas with only 4% reporting.  That is NUTS.

That means over 100,000,000 people voted in Texas!  Crazy!

Lulz.  Obviously not.  But still, we could have 7-8M votes in a non-pres year.  Just kind of nuts.

This Beto vs. Cruz race feels like the 2011 Thanksgiving game. It goes without saying that Cruz is aggy.

With Montgomery reporting early, Beto still has a 50K lead.  That should tell us that Beto has won the early vote statewide.

Dang lots of early vote there.

There goes Montgomery County. Beto still up. Would like to see more of the election day tallies coming in. It looks like that's mostly only from tiny counties right now?

From what I can tell, yes. Some have not yet reported EV though, including big-ish R counties like Lubbock (students helped swing Hays though?) and Tom Green.
