Baxster looks like the same no-show I saw last year, wondering why so many were praising him. Sark isn't helping him either with these plain vanilla calls

  • Our defense played their asses off. Giving up 14 points and two yards a play despite zero help from the offense is a day’s work.

Honestly are we that irate about this game? True road game against an elite defense and only lost by a touchdown and held them to 14? I'd be more pissed if we were in mid-season and Arch is still maki

Fuck that shit. They ran for 2.3 yards a carry. They got 240 yards total offense. They couldn’t close out the game when they needed to.

Manning or not , for a rookie qb getting his first road start in a very hostile location against a good team the pass plays being called are not setting him up for success or confidence

They haven’t been terrible.

They've been fine.

WRs are getting zero.

Uh.... Baxter didn't play last year. Maybe you were watching a different team?

This offense needed a rice blowout before coming into this environment right out of the gate.

Yep.. always thought this game as the first was a bunch of bs

I think so. He does not want his QB to run.

Never has. Designed runs are obviously in the play book but sark is on record that dual threat QBs isn’t his thing. You’ll never see a VY style offense out of him. It’ll never happen.

Aussie Aussie Aussie

Pk has a way of allowing an offense to drive the field and score. But it tires the offense out

Because you were watching him on the sideline on crutches.

A former Belichick defensive coordinator against a young kid in his first real game. Hopefully Sarkcan put him in a better position to succeed in what has happened so far.

Thank goodness for a playoff in CF now.

Sark isn't calling a very good game so far. He needs to move to a shorter passing game.

Is his QB capable of hitting an open man at the moment?

Our best player is the punter. Feels like 2017.

If Arch keeps holding the ball like this I'm going to have to start calling him Shedeur Manning

Quick screen to Wingo for a good gain followed by more long developing pass plays when our receivers can’t get any separation

The game is coming down to our OL not getting it done against their DL and their OL getting it done enough against our DL.

Arch needs to be appreciably better than Sayin to make up for that, and right now he isn't playing like it.

Sark needs to simplify shit. But remember this is Manning’s first start and he shined against shit teams last year. The WRs need to be better though. Get the youngins in if the starters can’t perform.

Need more of the WR screen type passes to get him going

How bout swings, quick slants? Wake TF up, Sark

Nobody open, no freaking bueno.  At least we have found a punter.  Let’s go DEFENSE need a big TO here.  TEXAS!IMG_1265.thumb.jpeg.4854ab70a7f51477cf3595fbe6ea4a4c.jpeg

Sark abandoned the under center run game after Ohio State scored and asked Arch to play spread hero ball smh

We need to get Arch some easier completions on first and second downs.

I mean he’s not wrong. Bax did have to sit for the whole season

It was 8 minutes long and they spent the entire first quarter on the field. Defensive lineman weigh 300 lbs and spend every play bashing their brains together.
This is like super basic shit man. Fat guys get tired when they stay on the field too long. Welcome to sports.

This is also a repeat issue with Sark. He has always been horrible at understanding TOP and its importance. He talks about complimentary football all the time but rarely plays it

They spent a little over 7 minutes of the first quarter in the field. Is that an “entire quarter”?

look man penalties is why they scored.

but don’t excuse that for them freight pushed around  and gutted in the run game.

if things don’t change this defense won’t hold.

Especially if they don’t get to the QB who has all day to throw other than 1-2 plays so far.

Arch w/ nerves all game.  Conservative offense continues.  Coaches definitely playing the game close to the vest offensively

So Arch looking downfield every pass is conservative?

Just now, USNALonghorn said:

We’re overmatched just like in both UGA games

Yep 3 coaches have sarks number and we play them multiple times every year

Arch isn’t really in control of the wr never getting open. We need some quick slants and some crossing routes to make these db’s pick themselves.

We got the ball first so we can’t let them go 5 min and score before half

If we can't catch a ball downfield, we're cooked.

They'll just walk everybody forward to cover short passes and stuff runs.

I've tried but the last one rejected me before we even got to that point.

OL is not the problem at all. They have been fine.
