Bama looks like a hot mess. Bama looks like Nebraska when Nebraska began their slide from dominance to shit town.

Everybody else being able to pay players hurts them, too.

Biggest issue is the transfer portal essentially turning into FA. There’s no longer a reason to stay and simmer as you don’t have to sit out a year.

I really think the change in Alabama began when they became a QB-centric offense rather than RB & Defense focused team.

accurate

very VERY accurate, lol

Under DeBoer, the team seems far less disciplined, the structure of Saban is hard to match. If Alabama does lose, at least that will take some of the talk away from the Texas loss. heh

Did anyone see this coming?

I don't follow Bama all that closely, so I didn't really have an opinion on the Tide... but I sure heard a lot of pundits assure us they'd be "back" this year.

we can only hope it reaches similar levels of hilarity.

sad thing is I actually like DeBoer as a coach, but taking THAT job to follow Saban of all gigs to take was career suicide.

Feel bad for all the Bama fans having to listen to Joe T. on the broadcast.  No bigger beating than listening to him when your team is struggling (see: Peach Bowl v. ASU).

I had a feeling about this game but not enough of one to publicize what I thought.

That is to say I'm not shocked.

Even if they don’t lose, they’re struggling mightily against a team that went 2-10 last year.

Yep, should have stayed put with Washington going to the BIG.

to be fair, said team has an actual QB this year rather than the joke that was DJU.

I thought the problem last year was mostly Milroe and DeBoer's obligation to stick with St Nick's guy.

But then I don’t understand not getting an upgrade over Simpson

Corso was the only one to pick FSU this morning.

"That’s my school"

Alabraska. It all started when we beat them at home two years ago.

They were pretty universally considered to be ranked too low

Yes. They’ve shut down their offense and killed themselves.

If Alabama loses this game, they may kidnap Saban in the middle of the night and bring him back.

Bama is straight up not ready to play against this FSU offense.

They just don't seem like the Bama of old on D and Simpson is not good enough to make up for a meh D.
