This is year 4 of this. We’re just fucked on it since that is his worst attribute, red zone playcalling

The red zone woes have already cost us the chance to play for 2 national titles. I'm grateful to be in that position after 13 years of wandering the desert, but we aren't winning it all until it gets fixed. Sark will have to swallow his pride for that to happen.

Thats some head scratching bullshit from such an offensive "savante." when it was second and goal on that 3rd qtr drive where we got stuffed, we were all joking that 4 yards seemed like a mile. 2nd and goal from the 4 and we all knew it was going to be a mighty struggle. Fucking clown show.

we have, an offensive, play caller.  not quite at the hallowed level of GDGD but in the same city.

You might as well post "Alexandria Daddario should suck my cock" because it's about as likely to happen as Sark hiring a real OC.  Narrator: it's not going to happen.

If the administration tried to force it to happen at some point, Sark would probably leave.  He sees game planning and play calling as one of his strengths and views hiring an OC to do that as depriving the team of that strength, which to him would be dumb.  You can disagree, but you don't get Sark the recruiter without Sark the play caller.

Sark..... might be able to draw plays but he is pure garbage at game time critical situation play calling.

yea its probably due to having more to do at HC, but he's missing the feel of the game in clutch situations.

Fucking Sark calls plays with the same feel for the situation as someone who is texting and driving.

We've witnessed the peak of Texas football with Sark. Last season we witnessed these same issues twice with UGA, on the road against the aggy and the previous Ohio St match up. I can envision a total butt fucking transpiring in Athens that'll make this game look tame something like a 27-10 kind of game. UGA will have a better defense than Ohio St and already has the perfect blueprint for fucking up Sark's offense which they executed twice perfectly last season. Fortunately the upcoming slate is largely a joke. The next three games are cupcakes. There is zero reason why Texas shouldn't win in the swamp. I think Oklahoma's offense is gonna be dog shit and that will show when they play Michigan. Kentucky and Miss St will be two of the worst teams in the SEC zero reason to drop either of those games. Vandy will have some fight, but should be a win. By that point everyone will have their hopes up before the humbling butt fucking that will transpire in Athens occurs after Texas enters that contest 8-1 and we experience all the same feelings we did watching this game play out.

But ESPN said he was the best player caller in the league.

And Fox told us the refs were from the SEC multiple times

Sark needs to look across the damn sideline - Ryan Day finally put his pride aside and hired a playcaller and immediately won a NC. Doesn't mean he has to let go of the offense completely but time to mix it up.

We make up too much shit in the offseason.  Neil Brown was supposed to help improve the run game.  That was supposed to help in RZ situations.

Sark is Sark.  He's not listening to Neil brown for jack shit

run game has improved. unfortunately our qb is regressing.

we need an oc so sark can be a qb coach or a true qb coach

And take the points fucking dumbass gambler

Exactly. Fuck every stupid ass that talks about the analytics. Take the damn points against a top 5 team, on the road, with a young qb. It’s not rocket science. You aren’t playing CFB26.

Maybe he considers it more seriously after Kirby breaks his dick off in Sark's ass a third time.

Who knew Kirby’s dick was a shark tooth?

Ryan Day’s OC had 200 yards of offense today with two 1st round WRs, the best TE in college football at home with a national championship caliber OL.   They are a bobbled catch from scoring 7 points at home.  Don’t overreact.  Sark has his issues with red zone and he’s shown not to have an ego.  I imagine they are going to work on it a shit ton.   This team is extremely inexperienced and you’re going to see improvement as the season progresses.  Outside of UGA, we’re not going to face another defense like we saw today.  Give the team some time to gel and work through it.

Btw, Grubb whom many consider to be an elite OC, scored 17 on the road against a shitty FSU defense.  LSU is struggling to put up points against the same Clemson defense that Sark ran 300+ yards on.

Some one suggested Malzhan, lmao.  Yeah, the dude would bring Herb Hand with him.  No thank you.  I’m cool with Sark calling plays.  Sucks we lost but I’m okay with being patient and letting him problem solve the offense.

2+ seasons of awful red zone offense. Today, we could have had 28 points with our 4 trips but we ended with 7. If we had a competent caller in the red zone, we might have won a title in the past 2 years.

More likely a brittle pretzel stick

Most of these guys making play calls would be PE coaches if they hadn’t been great athletes in high school or college. The savants are very rare.

Nobody looks particularly good.

I liked what I saw from fsu for a game 1.

Sark just needs to hire a 4th down and goal line offensive coordinator/playcaller.

The OC duties fuck with Sark fulfilling his game day HC duties and the game day HC duties fuck with Sark fulling his OC duties.

Hire an OC already. This is an uncessary handicap.

Sark has shown not to have an ego?  Yes and Mack is a kind grampa type

I'm not saying I think he needs to hire an OC, but I do wonder what does he do when the defense is on the field?  Does he follow the game and the defense, or does he discuss with the other offensive coaches what the guys in the press box are seeing, talk strategy for the next drive, etc.  Seems like if he is focused on the game and the defense he is at a disadvantage compared to having a dedicated OC.

I’m a believer that most of the team’s struggles are due to QB play. You give Sark a confident, accurate QB, and he’ll destroy defenses.

When it was clear Arch was struggling, it greatly limited the playcalling, and we don’t exactly have a dominant RB.

He said it like that meant they would be objective or favor Texas
