Clearly some of you guys have never smacked the shit out of your shin on a hitch. For that reason, mine comes off when not in use.

$80k can buy this truck, but it clearly can’t buy a lick of sense. Seen at the Far West HEB - dumbass tried to completely cut over the curb. Didn’t see the giant-ass boulder, and high-centered on it

So I went to the store earlier today. I wound up parking in the space to the left of that small black car After I pulled into the parking space I noticed a piece of paper stuck in the door handle

My situational awareness tells me each and every time to look for that on SUVs and trucks.

#teamhitch. Banging your shin on one is like snapping your arm with a bow string...you only do it once.

I'm neutral on the trailer hitch issue, but leaving these on your vehicle in a dark parking lot should be a crime.

Can’t back up a vehicle huh?

It’s also much easier to wind up straight in a spot while backing up.

Think of it this way, do you parallel parking while moving forward? Fuck no. Front end pushing the rear >>>> front end pulling the rear.

Do you also think the Earth is flat? Basic geometry skills tells you why backing in is superior and safer.

All of the above.

The hitch is also useful as a sorta "feeler" for backing in where there's a wall, large rock or the wooden wall @ the feed store & I can lightly tap it vs. my bumper getting in there.
Plus, a close in & backed in parking is desired @ Pug's so I can put the horse feed in right off the front porch vs. going around the side & having to toss it over.

Tow-n-Stow FTW. No more shin banging, height adjustable, and always there.

Had to pull it off my dashcam, so quality isn't great.  But you get the idea.

in his/her defense, HEB was barely open so there was plenty of open spots.

There's nothing you can do to or for that fellow.  Everything about that vehicle says: A)He/she does not give a single solitary fuck about what you think. B)There isn't a single solitary thing you can do to that vehicle that will make it worse. and C)S/He knows that both you and s/he know it.

This is simply a situation where  you have to sit back and admire the chutzpah and lack of give-a-fuck-edness.

That was a thing back in the 80s to make your truck a convertible. I bet most of them had next to zero wind noise on the highway.

awesome.  I wonder if he is in there getting more spray foam to fix the other rust spots on the rocker panels

Helped a buddy in high school cut the roof off of a 4x4 suburban like this .  Sprayed a rattle can camo paint  job and  installed a 6" pipe front bumper.   It became the war wagon for stupid high school senior shit.  We would fill the thing up with people and a couple of coolers of beer and go thrash it out in the country side.     /csb

Redbox douchebag w/o a placard doesn't even know how to park between the lines

He's stuck driving the Mercedes Aztek, joke's on him.

Why is it always the black car drivers that park like assholes.....?

Also, nice job blacking out the license plates....

...I think you need a Brake Check

I watched this guy park, it took him a few times before he could get his truck into the space in front of me. Took sometime, but he nailed it.

Just narrow enough that no one in a car bigger than a miata could fit. Guy in the booth heard me talking about these douchebags and said it happens every day.

Were they filming the Walking Dead there?

Pretty sure that's a no parking zone:

Paging Drifter to the white courtesy phone.

From the front door of my hotel tonight. In a packed parking lot, he couldn't park on the sides or in the back lot. Nope. right in front by the entrance.

Maybe he wanted it in a high visibility area in case someone tried to steal the truck or trailer?
