blitz again

See what happens when you don't sit back and play zone all day? We need to do this every game. Sitting back and letting the offense come to you is not a good strategy. Love this gameplan so far on defense.

Also, that seemed like a hell of a lot of plays to really gain nothing lol.

It was my understanding that we played more man than zone anyway

Much easier for it to be successful against Eli this week than Cam last week. Probably why we didn't see out as much

Zee looks bouncier tonight.  Not 100% Zeke, but better than last week.

He doesn't look as quick as he did in 2016. Even on that long run earlier in the game, he looked a step slower.

Conner looking better

He pulls well. He struggles in pass protection

Pass to Rico?

I actually love the heavy line up showing run and then passing it. Too predictable otherwise.

Let's just get to the half with this score. Do not give up points here.

Agreed, but better than last week.  It's almost like the preseason might be helpful in preparing players for regular season games.

Dak needs to start stepping up in the pocket on these blitzes. Running backwards is not going to do anything.

Also, this offense looks lost when  the opposition blitzes.

Also, defense was yelling at screen before the play even started. Can we not audible out of that?

Our personnel was stupid.  3 and long, we had Zeke, Olawale, and a TE, with 2 WR split out wide.... We telegraphed the shit out of it.

Old man is going to get too soft and we're going to give up points....

That's what I'm afraid of.

Multiple formations do that

At least the pass rush is legit.

Hoping the tackling picks up this game and as the season moves along.
