I wish they ran it like basketball where the teams have to use one of their timeouts in the first half but can save the rest for the second half.

think it has to do with where it gets placed automatically; 40 yard line. considering NFL kickers these days, that's not that long to a FG range

It's still a good 15 yards which if you give up gonna run out of time anyway.

that was quite the unsexy, but smart clock management by the Vikings there. amazing how many coaches screw it up

Yeah it’s a good barometer. It’s really stunning how many coaches suck at clock management and don’t do anything to fix it.

coach should know if the kicker can boom it out of bounds. they cost themselves 40 seconds

That QB draft class is going to be fun to follow for the next 2-3 years. By the time their teams need to commit with the next big contract, will see who is standing. I don't like the dude, but its a definite possibility Caleb doesn't even make the Top 3 of that class by then

I love all the memes. And fans being gruntled.

Fourth quarter is Tylenol Time with the Chicago Bears. #dabears

Let’s see I got the bears, cowboys and dolphins.  Woof

That was the most Bears game ever. Get a lead, screw around with penalties and sloppy play and lose a game that should have been out of reach at halftime. And that’s after barely getting a playable field surface down in time.

#Vikings QB JJ McCarthy on having to play his favorite team growing up for his NFL debut. “I grew up a #Bears fan, it broke my heart to see my them pass on me for a different quarterback. Ohio state did something similar though, ask them how that turned out.”

Love the attitude. dude has had a winning record since High School. Glad to see that he was able to press thru a poor start and shine in the 4th.

As a Vikings fan who gets up at 4AM, my tried & tried formula for prime time viewing worked like a charm:

If they're sucking shit through a straw at half, turn it off and get some sleep. If they make a miracle comeback to win you start the day w/ a pleasant surprise & can watch the highlights later.

If they're tied or even leading at half, turn it off & get some sleep. That way you don't waste the next few hours anxiously watching them blow it & compound the pain with a lack of sleep & being a grumpy asshole the next day.

Next opportunity to use this is Sunday night vs ATL.

Narrator:  he wasn't Top 3 from the jump...but for Chicago.

The footwork went from bad to worse.  I think he’s got a ways to go.
