He looked much more crisp, even in his previous garbage time, throwing a nice pass on a crossing route that I'm certain Arch wouldn't make at this time. He also has way more experience and I think could handle a more complex offensive scheme from Sark. But if they put him in for extended time, I think it will expose Arch even further and create a massive controversy. I never want to see anyone hurt, but maybe the strategy is Arch "pulled" something and Caldwell gets some time, so he can save face? And yes, I'm well aware I don't know shit about fuck. lol There is no doubt his mechanics are better.

Except Arch had more running TDs and fewer INTs. I don’t know what happened at fucking practice this week but it would be nice if those in the KNOW would just tell us like the offense and the defense look like two separate teams. The defense looks like champion caliber and the offense is way out of synch. Should we have had a spring game? What is going on? With the slopppiness and penalties? I expect more from Sark bc these are the things under his control as a HC. Calling back to Vince, he turned that corner when GDGD and butterteeth finally let him just ball and they stopped trying to cram him into a box. Sark has not given any indication of making such a change or even thinking that what he's doing is wrong. He's doing his Herman impression of doubling down on a failing idea
September 14Sep 14 Good news is we have new NIL opportunity. Trojan lube, for when you dont want your opponents to go in dry.

That’s part of the issue. Sark has his play calls and wants to impose his game plan but in game he’s not taking what the opposing defense is giving him. We have watched Ewers now with Sark and we have a small sample size with Arch and damned if you ain’t right, Ewers was good at certain things but damned if sark didn’t make it easy for him to use his strengths and I do fear from your post it is the exact same thing. Arch can do certain things play to those. The thing with sark i see happening and Jesse Palmer of all people said it last week: his play calls are predictable and vanilla. Defenses know he won’t exploit their weaknesses. sark is leaps and bounds better than Jimbo but Jimbo found himself forced to hire an OC before getting fired. And I am just using what happened to him as an example. Shit gets missed as a HC and also the OC. Sark won’t hire an OC. The offense looks sloppy. Shit is getting missed in a major way. He doesn’t see it. He won’t go sit in the box. Damn.

The only fix is Arch getting his head all the way out of his ass.

He can run the ball. His skill set is essentially as an option QB right now. Either switch QBs or scrap the complex passing game for the Vince 2004 offense.
September 14Sep 14 Not sure if it’s a bad game plan or not, hard to tell when half the passes thrown are wildly inaccurate. He did that Uncle Rico shit again too. The next time he throws side arm with his feet parallel he should be pulled immediately, I don’t give a shit if it’s in the middle of a series, it’s fucking infuriating! That offense doesn't work if you can hit a fucking bubble screen, which Arch cannot.

He was 2/3 for 45 yards then we threw only one non-3rd/4th pass over the next 25 plays (which was also a completion). Edited September 15Sep 15 by JBJ

This is an over-simplification. You can scheme to his strengths and hope he gains confidence. He's hit some nice long outs and wheel routes and run very well.
