Well, they are winless, and haven’t won a game all year…..aggy beat a winless team.

I'm not saying the aggy are any good. Their defense is wet toilet paper, it's terrible. I'm just gloating that ND was eliminated from the playoffs in week 3. Even if they manage to win out they won't have any quality wins to pad a resume with, the remainder of their schedule is bad.

Did everyone else see the aggy lineman tackle the ND dt from behind on their play that led to the td?  How was that not a flag.

On the news just now they said "yes there was a hold on the play"  lol.

That's three top 10 wins for Mike Elko in his first sixteen games as Texas A&M's head coach.

ND is on the verge of being out of the playoffs, imo.  They just need one more loss.

We can take solace in knowing ND won't be making the playoffs this season, either.

If they win out they will. And use is the only tough team in their schedule.

#1059

damn they broke the curse !!!!!

United States Senator Ted Cruz and company are at Notre Dame. Cruz attended the A&M/ND game last year in College Station.

ND or Aggy making the playoffs just makes it easier for any other team in the playoffs.

Yall relax... neither of them are making the playoff.

#1061

I think this was aggy’s first non-conference win over a ranked opponent in my lifetime - and I’ll be 53 this fall.

Well sure…if aggy were to make the playoffs this would be proof positive that all 99 seals have been broken and there is an apocalypse and because God has a sense of humor He will kick off the apocalypse 5 minutes before kick off. So I guess if you are an end of the fucking world fan there you go. No way God lets them have that banner in the bat guano stadium. 🏟️

That's why it goes down in the books as a so-called top 15 win or whatever, because we were inflated due to the success of people no longer on the field.  That's like saying a win over Arizona State means you beat a contender.

#1069

I hate both teams so I was just watching laughing... but goddamn did ND get fucked by the refs in the last 5 minutes of that game. Let aggy have their glory. It's what they do in September.

I'm just saying give ND their flowers they played some nice ball last season and beat a team that we lost to twice.

Is this the shit you whisper to drunk dudes before you toss them into the river?

I ventured over to Texags and the blood pressure pill thread is pretty funny, but it’s a hot mess. They are excited but keep bitching people out who think Elko needs to clean up the penalties.

Cool man they got further than we have in 16 years and beat a team we couldn't along the way.

I'm not a ND fan just calling it like it is. I'm also not freaking out about Arch and Texas this season unlike most of this board and fanbase.

Surly is always crazy. The sunshine pumpers of the last three years now want to personally put Arch in the transfer portal after today. I hope he is as strong mentally as he is purported and appears to be. His body language on the sideline suggests he is, he should be better than fine. The game hasn’t slowed down for him yet. It will.

And 11 last week I think? Same as us. Florida had 12 last week. They do need to clean them up. But posts like “so excited we won. Let’s clean up the penalties though” are not being well received. And they are getting their head bitten off for saying it. People can say well that’s aggy but the same shit happens here too,

Fuck, we had 14 terrible penalties tonight and I am fucking furious about it. I hope none of the coaches sleep a minute tonight.

Arch is the truth. This site and our fanbase will come along. It's early. Most people apparently can't see it. I can live with that.

this is worrisome as we are like 120 of 136. I see most of the top teams we worry about beating in the top 30. We have to fix this shit.

They will still rank them. They lose again and they should be out of the rankings and out of the conversation entirely. But it’s early yet. Some teams are playing better than expected and others are still wait and see if they should drop down or move up. And some are seriously playing themselves out of the playoffs by the end of this next weekend. Bottom line is that a 2 loss ND shouldn’t get in over a school that has no losses or one loss. That would be bullshit that we are all tired of seeing,

I enjoyed the transparency of the ACC showing us and letting us listen in to how refs make their call. The committee needs the same transparency especially if they put in ND with two loses since the rest of their schedule ain’t exactly badass from here on out,

I feel like you're thinking about this the wrong way. We have 16 teams ahead of us. We're going to need to step our penalty game up a notch if we want to be #1!

Let’s shoot to be the most penalized team in FBS. Just kidding, It’s not surprising to me that teams like Utah or Minnesota Army and Air Force are some least penalized teams. The scary one to me is Oregon. We haven’t seen them play yet a team that is a contender but so far they have proven that They can score lightening fast, show no mercy and don’t make many mistakes. Very few. We can’t afford to make mistakes. That penalty we had on our defense (god bless them bc they are elite and warriors) vs Ohio State gifted them a TD. We gotta fucking fix this shit. Lol.

It’s almost as if Sark heard the committee say “we don’t care how many points you win your games by” and said “cool. heard.
