yeah, i like the idea of having two skilled scorers and a puck retriever on each line. I think people forget or don't know Steel was a 1st round pick. he's no slouch.

Yeah. He was in real pain. Do we have anyone left with Texas to call up?

Got lyo back so they will just reactivate kolyochonok

I’m so much happier with Rantanen this year than last year. He’s passing more and is more dynamic with the puck. Makes me wonder whether Deboer was just trying to use him only as a scoring machine. Or maybe he’s getting more comfortable playing with these guys.

Okay calm down with the injuries defense. About to be a bunch of guys we don’t know their name.

After watching Copabianco, I'm assuming the answer is No.

why the hate? the dude is +3 and has 3 helpers in 11 games. that's 22 points or so over a regular season, which is slightly under Esa's output last season. now if you're saying there might not be much left after him, I could buy that. but he's been quite good considering who he is replacing.

btw, Stars '99 retros were the best selling jersey debut in NHL history. nice.

I honestly think part of the hate is that his #20 brings back terrible memories.

We scored 20 MFing goals this week.

Also, imagine Colorado with 96 on their team. JFC that’s a world all star team. Glad we have him.

I won’t claim to know this without hockey reference but forget Suter and think about langenbrunner, Mike Craig, and dino cicerelli. And the eagle.

Bichsel needs surgery and out 6 weeks.   Probably good news.   I was at game Sunday and was worried he was done for the season given his reaction.

Olympic break is 2/5 to 2/25 so I wonder if they’ll give him until then to recover.

Wouldn't surprise me.   It's pretty amazing how well we've played the last month despite the injury issues.  Really need to start getting others back.

You Know Yes GIF

Lol, I was just looking at random nhl stats and Mikko is leading in PIM. Fucking goon! [emoji1787]

DeSmith stood on his head to equalize a middling effort against a middling team. No real tragic errors, but a continuous lack of precision in the defensive zone led to non-clearances. Prolonged defensive zone time meant less offensive zone time. Shesterkin likewise rescued the Rangers from another close loss.

We have  a playoff contending team on IR.

Torn ACL official.  Hopefully he comes back for his final year of his contract, but could honestly see him retiring.

Sucks so bad.  Obviously for the team but just beyond awful for Seguin.  Dude has worked his ass off to get healthy and was having a great year.

How much $ do we get for his salary when they move him to LTIR?

basically the games he played will count against the cap, afaik. we're banking a shitload of cap right now, which is the only silver lining. we currently have guys scoring goals and getting points making $800k/season replacing guys making 2x-5x+ that. hopefully we're done with the attrition for a minute. sheesh

Seems like we've already had an entire seasons worth of injuries in less than 2 months.

Sooooo about to drop the puck on game 2 of a b2b, on the road, against a good team, with I assume a goalie that didn’t feel great yesterday, and some combo of new lines to account for the loss of seguin.

Should be fine. At least the travel was minimal.
