October 1Oct 1 All I know is points will be at a premium on Saturday, especially if the rainy forecast plays a factor. If Texas is in the redzone and finds themselves at 4th and 2 (or longer) I will kick a *puppy each time Sark doesn't take the points. *stuffed puppy Edited October 1Oct 1 by perfectchaos007
October 1Oct 1 so what are the chances the swamp is only 60-70% full due to bad weather and pure apathy?
October 1Oct 1 Florida On3 posted this a few hours ago: Handing over the call sheet wasn’t something Napier considered during the bye, he said. However, Gators Onlinel earned — and Napier confirmed — that he asked staff members to send him their suggestions on what Florida could do better offensively Some staff suggestions included which players should be targeted more, ways to run the ball better and how to get Lagway going in the passing game. One of them was taking shots down the field, and Napier acknowledged that he needs to call more deep balls. Edited October 1Oct 1 by Hookem2147

Well, yeah, it seems that your OL/Run Game Coordinator and WR/Passing Game Coordinator should have recommended 5-10 plays each game based on your opponent's base defense. Analysts should have broken down the opponent's tendencies based on down & distance, etc. Build up the game plan from there. Today's analytical software should make this effort relatively easy.

Great use of his time, maybe later he will sit down with Vic and talk about how his bully ball offense will never win a title.

October 1Oct 1 I saw CDC walking Town Lake this morning. Could have sworn I heard him telling Sark that FG weren’t a sign of weakness and that it was ok to not run same play 3x in a row from 1 yd line. I could be mistaken though as he was walking at a good clip.

You have to respect Florida. They are way more talented than their record. You let them stay in the game and they may actually play to their talent. Get a quick lead and they may quit. I hate these type of games. There is no upside to beating a talented underperformer. Lose and you suck. Win and nobody cares.
October 1Oct 1 Until our offense proves something, my expectations will remain low. Line seems high. Defenses smell blood in the water with Arch. My low bar for him is to play well enough to not get benched on Saturday. 10-10 at the end of regulation. We end up winning 16-13 after 2 overtimes and that's not even factoring the weather. Take the under.

October 1Oct 1 Hopefully our DLine pressures Lagway so quickly that there’s not enough time for their WRs to run a deep route

Florida would trade Bryce Lovett for Connor Stroh on the wire. Overall: 39.1 Run Blocking: 62.8 Pass Blocking: 27.1 (from AI, so might not have the last game in those numbers) That is where you attack on pass rush situations. Overload the right side. Bryce Lovett had a drastically inconsistent 2025 season according to PFF data, starting with a 0.0 pass block grade against Miami and a 27.1 in a subsequent game.. I honestly did not know you could get a 0 from PFF Vs Miami For starters, none of the Gators’ offensive linemen had a PFF grade above 70. The closest to that number was Knijeah Harris, who received a 64.5 offensive grade. The numbers get even worse when focusing on pass and run blocking situations in isolation. There were just two Gators to have a 70-grade or better pass blocking grade, and only one of them was an offensive lineman in starting center Jake Slaughter (70.6). Outside of him, every offensive lineman who saw the field had a PFF pass blocking grade below 35. Edited October 1Oct 1 by Codaxx
October 1Oct 1 If we win the turnover battle we should win imo, and I'll bitch 50% less if we just look decently decent on offense out there. 2 minutes ago, Codaxx said: Their Right tackle is a worn-down speed bump.
