Nothing against Maldy, he was a good dude, and great lockerroom guy. Haven't won shit since he left, I wouldn't mind if they found a coaching spot for him.

Astros prospects showing really well in the fall league.  Janek has been one of the best overall players in the whole league so far.  Sullivan is playing really well.  Hicks and Brito have been extremely good thru 2 appearances each.  I expect that Wohlgemuth and Leach will be like Danny Meszaros but overall Houston’s farm is looking good based on what we’ve seen in Arizona so far.

trade diaz for the right return

Why so this guy can bat like .205 like the rest of the guys we called up

I remember when JR Towles had eleventy thousand rbi in one game as a rookie.  He didn't end up in Cooperstown like we all had him penciled in for.

#323

No, but he did end up playing for the Skeeters in Sugar Land like I thought he would

Not bad for a almost 37 year old outfielder when he made his home debut and they spelled his name wrong during an at bat on El grande

As an aside, since it is officially the offseason for all but two teams, I had a brief conversation with Art Howe this past weekend. His niece lives across the street from me and they were having a birthday party for a family member. Howe, former Astros player & manager, was there.

162-0 is the easy part, 162 no hitters, now that's going to take some talent and luck

Anderson Brito is your Arizona Fall League Pitcher of the Week! The @Astros' No. 7 prospect struck out eight batters in three hitless frames in his lone start.More details: https://t.co/OFmvfumadF

Nate Pearson said he had offers from other teams as a reliever, but the Astros approached him with the idea of turning him back into a starter. Dana Brown talked to him prior to signing about the ideas they had. https://t.co/ZzKpeXZa0u
