Now it's full of mold and god knows what. All the renovations proposals have had astronomical pricetags and don't have any chance of making an ROI worth the risk. Might as well demo it and make it something useful, even if it is more parking.
December 6Dec 6 astros legend corey julks and his family have patronized great heights brewing twice this week. thankfully the other guests let them drink their beers in peace.

December 8Dec 8 Author Astros 2nd basemen .... Altuve Kent Biggio Doran Morgan (still pisses me off he was traded) Edited December 8Dec 8 by tx 3 putt
December 8Dec 8 loved Kent; Friend went to a game dressed as white trash (redundant) Kent, Kent was a good sport and went into the stands to take a pic with his doppelganger, sadly lost the pic
December 9Dec 9 I don’t know all the details but I do know that venture capital ownership seldom make things better.
December 9Dec 9 Edwin Diaz to Dodgers Like they needed more firepower, they might as well find room for Kyle too. Bring on the lockout/strike, whatever Edited December 9Dec 9 by Pablo
December 9Dec 9 Author i'd expect pricing to go up across the board no more $13 hooks tickets. they need to cut UT baseball a check to play down there every year. people show up. lot of ut supporters in South Texas curious why asheville wasn't part of this ? Edited December 9Dec 9 by tx 3 putt
December 9Dec 9 Author ok real talk here ..... behind first base the hooks have a spin the wheel game set up. $5 for 3 spins or $12 for 6. if these fuck sticks take that away, i'm rioting. it's a mix of astro give aways, hooks give aways and whataburger coupons. it's full of great prices !!!!!
December 9Dec 9 Author ugh ... Articles on Diamond Baseball and here’s a quick quote to sum it up: “Indeed, Diamond Baseball Holding’s business model is clear once you get past the puffery and the popcorn: Consolidate the minor league market and foist costs onto taxpayers, with the ever-present threat of moving teams out of communities that don’t comply. It’s a tale of consolidation and extraction running right underneath America’s pastime.” https://boondoggle.substack.com/p/meet-the-private-equity-firm-squeezing Meet the Private Equity Firm Squeezing America for Stadium Subsidies

Asheville was the only affiliate not owned by the Astros. Also, it is expected that the High A level will be eliminated as part of the next CBA. I hate it. MLB needs more affiliated teams, not less. More players on affiliated roster means a more popular sport.

December 11Dec 11 Grew up a huge Astros fan in San Antonio, and have always lived in SA and Austin… so I’m not terribly familiar with the Houston sports personalities. Recently stumbled onto the Stone Cold Stros channel on YouTube, with Charlie Pallilo, Brandon Strange, and Josh Jordan. Is the feeling among Houstonians that these guys know what they’re talking about? More than the Locked On Astros guys, I’m guessing? (Acknowledging that nothing beats Breathing Orange Fire, of course…)
