No no no, I have it on good authority that he's too short and will never amount to anything in the league. Don't get your hopes up, these analysts watch a lot of games and post on message boards that cost $9.95 a month.

Hey, that's me.

You have a 6'0" SG who can't shoot.  Congrats.

  • Went to first game of season last night. Good times. Reed Sheppard seems kinda dumb. Holiday needs more minutes still. KD "off" night and still drilled 2 of the biggest shots As we all know..

At what point will Durant demand a trade because he "can't wing there?"

It's coming.

Aaron Holiday probably isn't the complete answer, but he doesn't totally suck and needs to get some run

Looks like we are gonna win...don't have to trade everyone yet

Davison sighting.

i know the NBA “experts” will crawl in here and tell us Okogie sucks shit and balls, but he played quite well tonight. Hit a couple 3’s and played good defense. I kind of hate playing Adams starters minutes, so I’m good with it.

Reed has been very efficient tonight, and no glaring mistakes. Not saying he’s the answer, but there’s time for him to prove himself as a rotational player.

Tari wont be on the team too long is my guess

His body language tonight was again terrible. Slow and sulking. No emotion. No acknowledgment for his teammates setting him up, and the biggest is his defense. Just walking around when he used to play D like his hair was on fire.

He is pouting out there

I am fine with it, his minutes are going to go down even more once Finney-Smith is able to play. I am glad the super big lineup lasted two games, it was terrible for spacing. I think you can play it for certain stretches in games, but you need guards in the lineup.

He can maximize his value by playing SG, hitting threes, and helping with the ball handling/initiating the offense. But yes, he’s the most likely trade piece going out for a PG in December.

Who is going to trade for Tari as a RFA?

Is there a low salary, but good PG on a tanking team that doesn't want to sign Tari and will be happy with picks when they decide not to match his FA tendies?

Are we playing a bunch of midgets? 40-18 in rebounds

Raptors have gone super small tonight. A lot of 3-4 guard stuff with Ingram playing the 5. Pretty weird lineup, but they shit the hell of the ball.

Ingram is probably going to ask for a trade in the post game presser.

21/40 from 3 but you got decimated on the boards and lost

2 straight smooth beat downs without any closing issues. A nice change of pace.

About as effortless of a 20 pt road win as you’re going to find.

I would like to see Clint Capela get more burn. Doing so will also keep Steven Adams healthier as the season progresses.

#1 offense without an actual PG

This offense is really good. Okogie making open 3's. If we made our FTs in the 1st 2 games, we'd be unbeaten.

I don't think anyone was thinking the shooting turnaround was coming, but when you get rid of a horrible chucker that didn't make your teammates better bad shots happen. Rockets are now getting wide open rhythym jumpers off the playmaking ability of Sengun and Thompson.

Okogie isn’t the long term solution at guard, but he might just get us to December.

Respect for playing good defense and taking out the garbage under the basket. He’s also very selective with his shots, and is currently shooting it well from 3.

His last 75 games, he's 40% BTA. Still young and has a role. He doesn't need the ball to be effective. He's likely a longer player than December.

Having Durant helps a lot, too. You can leave Jalen Green open and live with the result. You can't leave Durant open.

The offensive rebounding/rebounding in general is also insane for this team. Zach Lowe yesterday said that with Adams and Sengun on the floor (think it was like 75 minutes total) the Rockets are rebounding 47% of their own misses.

Forty-seven percent.

This team is really fucking good and well-coached. Y'all just need to stay healthy-ish. A lot of good chemistry and selflessness out there already.

Sheppard may grow into being an okay PG but as of now a trade should still be on the table.

I know this one has been a little messy but the positives are really nice.

Bro has to hit shots. He ain't gonna be a play setting PG any time soon.

Any DFS updates? The guy from The Athletic didn’t know shit, of course.

Nobody seems to know outside of the Rockets.

And play D.

I will say I think he does enough bicep curls. Dude is jacked.

I’ll ask the question, if DFS misses 20-30 games is a it a bad signing?

They signed him to spell Durant and if he’s unavailable, where’s his value?

This is the Mavs team a lot of people were expecting to see preseason.

Jason Kidd is a decent coach.

Russell going full SGA. Not even looking to shoot. Just looking to get his man in the air and draw contact on every play. This style of play is killing the league.

No Rockets lead is safe when Reed Sheppard is on the floor.

That was a gritty little win.

Y'all are fun to watch.
