This map shows how much alcohol people drink in every U.S. county.

Purple areas have the highest excessive drinking rates, and green areas have the lowest.

WTF is going on in Wisconsin?

Do the rest of the states need to do an intervention for Wisconsin?
I am shocked that King County (Seattle, Wa area) is not purple.  My family has really fallen off the ball up there.

I can tell you with absolute certainty, Kimble county is purple during hunting season. -signed my liver.

I just know because I know what Travis and Williamson look like I had to look up what the 3rd county was called.

In California, San Diego brews some fine, damn fine beer.

Other red county is Sonoma. If you're not drinking in Napa or Sanoma, you're doing it wrong.

It’s also a map of how people respond to surveys. Red is honest and green are liars.

Wisconsinites take drinking very seriously. It's a significant part of their culture.

The thing I question most is Clark County, Nevada.

Here’s a map from a different data source.

Alcohol and medicine aren't the same.  Lots of sick folks in those green counties.

I've lived in Midland, Travis, Hays, Parker and Dallas. 4 for 5 in the red.

That explains Utah.

Last Spring, I was working in Iowa and about 4 of us were discussing, "what are your hobbies or what do you like to do away from work."

Got to one young lady, a former cheerleader at Northern Iowa, " I like to drink... a lot."

Not sure if I blushed, but I was thinking to myself, "Do not go drinking with THAT woman!"   LOL.

Yeah, that's why he's in a TV show.

Oh, that's just Burnett County. Those losers are too messed up on meth to drink properly.
