We will sneak by Arky. Maybe

the rest of the teams have more talent and better coaching staff than us.  They all have better o lines and we still have arch  ou aggy uga Vandy and Kentucky are going to run a train

7-5 is the ceiling for the team that was on the field today. Which is embarrassing considering we had 3 free wins. We better shape the fuck up quickly.

I'm rolling with Bobby Burton, who predicted losses to Ohio State and Florida before the season started. After that, he had Texas winning out.

Maybe if Arch tears his ACL in practice or something.

7-0

Winning depends on the QB and Arch is showing flashes of brilliance.

The other garbage we saw today can be fixed.

If this team wins out. I’ll fist future mans ass in longhorn stadium on the 50 yard line.

I want to believe that, but when are we gonna fix it?  We just had 2 weeks and we got worse.

And before anyone says, "It's just that we finally played a team with a pulse," Ohio State has a great fucking defense, and our O line was WAY worse today.

4-3. Unless Arch becomes the guy we want him to are Caldwell comes in and just plays the QB position.

Why hasn't been fixed yet? It's been there all season.

The OL isn't getting fixed unless they open the transfer portal mid season.

In what world does this team win out lol. Are any of yall watching the games? This team is TERRIBLE. what do they do well? Name something. It’s impossible on the offensive side. We thought we could rely on our defense and we just let a one legged quarterback do whatever he wanted and we let them run down our throats all game. Special teams is and always has been a total joke under Banks so nothings changing there.

I'll go 9-3. I think we smoke OU next week, split UGA and aggy and win everything else.

Outside chance at the CFP.

We'll see.

I want some of those bong hits.

Is that a heart statement or a brain statement?

Come on, there is no way the team that played today is going 9-3

Everyone owes Quinn Ewers an apology.

I thought we would win today. I think not playing a real team for a month hurt us.

I really like our QB and think he continues to get better. A lot of people here apparently don't understand that the most important stat for most college QBs is how many games have you started.

The OL is a problem. The D Line isn't as good as it has been.

This team is still stacked. I think we are going to be difficult to beat at home.

Also I think OU is a bunch of fucking pussies and Texas will be mad and will handle business next week.

Feels like the late Mack years. Everything we want is in front of us, but they have to win out which never, ever happens.

The good news they couldn’t be more desperate for RRS.

Let's retire Banks and Barron before we retire whatever the fuck Quinn did all season last season. Get a grip.

Do we shit can 3/5 of the OL and start over? Because other wise I’m not sure we go 5-2 like I picked.

I want to be this way, but the idea behind it was that we would continue to progress. We have definitely regressed, especially on o line.

Agreed.

Sark is his own worse enemy, instead of installing discipline, he’s installing plays (that don’t work) he needs to find an OC and worry about Head Coach responsibilities

Maybe

matched up against UH or some other pathetic rig12 team

We’ll win the next 4.

Then we’ll see if we have everything buttoned down for a post season run

I had us losing to Florida and Georgia, so I'm not surprised, but good God we looked terrible.

We will beat Kentucky and Miss State.

Everything about this season is eerily similar to 2010. Is it just a coincidence that Mack is back in Austin dicking around the program, doing podcasts and such? Why did Sark hire Akina? What’s the connection there?

This program is at a crossroads, which is crazy to say coming off back to back CFP’s and it only being the first week in October.

A few minor coaching changes can be made during the season, but the major changes will have to wait until the offseason, particularly hiring an OC.

A change at quarterback has to be made immediately. Look no further back than 2010 and Gilbert fiasco that essentially ended Mack’s tenure at Texas. Sark is at that crossroads now. He needs to be smart about every decision he makes for the next 6 months. My advice to Sark is: understand thoroughly every decision Mack made in 2010, and do the exact opposite.

Agree on the Arch note.   Not sure the shit-tastic o-line can be fixed without an influx of talent in the offseason.

It isn't at all. A lot of you just like to be miserable and ignore data points when it comes to evaluating teams.

I’ll list the main data points:

1. coming off a championship game appearance/final four

2. highly rated QB with a pedigree, massively underperforming

3. struggling to make first downs, sustain drives, score points

4. Successful, proven returning players, and highly rated recruits, failing to progress, some even regressing

We aren't going 5-7. I'm sorry that a lot of you still think that.

I'm also sorry that you think that Arch is the same as Garret Gilbert.

This team may really disappoint and go 8-4. That doesn't make this the same as 2010. Coaches need rebuilding years sometimes. Sark isn't at the end of his tenure and getting lazy.
