It’s the smoldering remains of our CFB playoff hopes.

Bryan Hardeman?

It’s not a firehose. It’s a deck gun putting out 1000 gpm. But to answer your question, that single one against that much fire volume is doing absolutely fuck all.

Now, once the tower ladder in the background gets a water supply and starts flowing the 2500 gpm it’s capable of, things will start to change.

Fire in a vacant hotel. What could possibly be the cause?

homeless fire, or friction fire between the mortgage papers and the insurance policy.

I always wanted to hear what Sam Kinnison would have had to say about that place

It was really good. Oddly enough, I wanted to hit it for lunch last week on the way back from a hearing north of town, and that's when I realized it had closed.  And then a few days later, the building was gonzo.  So, there ya go.

There's another really good Ethiopian place at I-35 and 290, called Habesha.

Ethiopian food is some of the spiciest food I’ve ever had. I went to a place in one of the DFW suburbs and the waiter would only let me go up to 7 out of 10 spicy level because I’m white. I had to talk him up from 5 and I was thankful he stood strong at 7

Yeah, their spicy is....spicy.  A lot of different African cuisines can bring it.  And I can't eat spicy food the way I used to.  Keep me at a mid to slightly below mid-level, por favor.

All of the businesses and buildings along that stretch of I35 have been closed down and eminent domained by TXDOT for the I35 expansion. Comments from Reddit state that building/area had been occupied by the homeless for awhile.

My law school apartment was behind Asters, back when it was Enchiladas Y Mas.  #csb

We walked up to Y Mas at least once a week.  With The Posse, Double Daves, Eggroll cart, and Y Mas I gained a few pounds in law school.

Fire looks like it left that lovely pool alone.
