Snell vs TBD in Game 1.

Go Dodgers, f selig and his usurpers.

Wasn't sure Kershaw would be kept on the roster after that debacle in the DS.

Brewers sweep.

Probably not. Considering how my ALCS prediction is going, I should predict a Dodgers sweep.

But go Brewers. Seattle/Milwaukee would be awesome.

Bases loaded for the Dodgers.  I thought Teoscar could have scored on that but looked like he got a bad jump.

Wait, the Brewers pitching coach is named Hook?  Confidence inspiring.

lulz, I thought it did come off the wall live...yeah it did.  Forced out at home.  How slow is Teoscar?

If it bounces off the wall and you catch it it’s an out?

Oh double play.  Fuck me

Just your routine 8-6-2, 2U double play.

So, what happened that Hernandez would have gone back instead of just staying on third until the play happens then run home?

the other runners, I get it a little bit but they and the base coaches should be watching the relevant umpire.

Seriously, how did Teoscar not score there?  He should have been tagging all the way and as soon as the CF touches it you can go...you don't have to wait on a juggled catch.

Altuve-esque base running.

Another escape for the brewers.  Quite a pitchers duel going.

Ump seems like he sucks.

Baseball’s version of scoragami

One more inning from Snell, then turn it over to Roki

I feel dumb. Why is that a double play? If he caught it, wouldn’t it no longer be a force play at home?

He didn't catch it.  It bounced off his glove then off the wall and then he caught it.  When it hit the wall it's not a catch.

So are they really going to pull Snell?  I hope the bullpen blows it if so.  This also makes me wonder why the rays always thought Snell couldn't go more than 5 innings.

So, if he didn’t catch it, isn’t that just one out at home? Where’s the other out?

I appreciate helping my toddler brain.

Catcher ran down for the force at third because none of the other runners advanced.

Yep, just texted a buddy if Dave Roberts doesn’t send him back out with 103 pitches the baseball gods better punish the dodgers with a loss

but now we’re now one XBH away from this almost being Kershaw time

Yes, they were high fiving him in the dugout.  He’s done.  Roki has been virtually unhittable in the playoffs so far

Ok thanks. I just noticed that the clip I kept seeing didn’t show the catcher touching third.

Appreciate your patience in this matter. I will leave now.

I was watching Bijan so only saw the replay on socials.

when did the ump make his call?

if he was timely with the safe call, inexcusable for either guy to get out.

I didn’t see it live either but tuned in just in time to hear the pxp guy laud the umpire for a quick call.

though I confess that with the 6 umpire setup I’m not sure if that’s the lf ump or 2b ump call. But if you paid me 7 figures to play mlb, I’d brush up on the rules.

Yeah the replay showed the lf ump come a little ways off the line into lf and immediately made a repeated safe sign.  But how many runners are going to pick up the ump vs only watch the ball?

wow, unlucky for milwaukee. still, they’ve got life.

That insurance bases loaded walk is looming large

Doesn’t really mean much.

the batter wasn’t going to third.

thats the only thing that mattered with that bounce

yelich is dangerous here.

of course jesus christ probably couldn’t hit that splitter.

What an AB

Man none of those were on the edge but to sit and take those with 2 strikes is still impressive

outstanding at-bats for milwaukee. professional hitters are so huge in the playoffs.
