October 13Oct 13 The first episode aired last night. Definitely interesting. Has a Curb-like cringe factor but it's not necessarily a straight comedy. I've never really watched anything Tim Robinson has done but I've known about him for years because of the hot dog suit meme.
October 14Oct 14 We thought the first episode was hilarious. I've also been aware of Tim and lots of what he's done but the only thing we've actually watched (just in the last couple of weeks) was the Friendship movie with Paul Rudd, which was wild.

I especially enjoyed the part where he was on the phone trying to get in contact with the company that manufactured the chair that broke, that one and the opening scene where he was at dinner with the family and the servers kept trying to clear the plates. Then the egg that he insists on taking home winds up being a factor in the storyline.
October 14Oct 14 The hardest I laughed was the the payoff to the guy unbuttoning his shirt in the chase scene. It’s One Battle After Another and then ep 1 of this show for chase scenes this year. Oh fuck, and dabbing the hair with printer paper
October 14Oct 14 I thought this was as good as anything he’s done. Can’t wait for the rest. Tim Robinson’s Office Space.

October 15Oct 15 I love Tim (and what he and Zach write). This will only get weirder and I can’t wait.
October 15Oct 15 Perfect premise for Tim Robinson, waging war against a chair manufacturer. He's got a niche and I'm glad he keeps exploiting it
October 16Oct 16 I'm 15 minutes in and I literally can't stop laughing. It's not overtly hilarious it's just that if Tim's particular brand of weirdness cracks you up it's overtly hilarious.
October 16Oct 16 Love it, this is exactly how you take a TR character and make it work with a longer format. Friendship failed to do that well enough to make it believable, and it showed. I like how he lies to get through difficulties with the normies, it helps hide his truly weird nature and will allow him to build up that steam inside until he ultimately explodes. It has a lot of potential, and I can't wait to see where it goes. HBO said it was their best comedy premiere in 5 years with over 1.5m viewers. Don't you think that is really quite weird?
October 16Oct 16 I thought Friendship was boring and I am a big TR fan. This had me going though. The co worker letting him know that he's going to report to HR that he accidently saw up her skirt on her birthday.

I think the scream or whatever heard scared him so bad that he didn't bother to get himself good and cleaned up after having diarrhea so he just stuffed paper in underwear and got the fuck out of there. I thought for sure there was going to be a scat-related joke when he got to the office.
October 20Oct 20 I'm not a Tim Robinson fan, but this show is fantastic. "Well, it really wasn't a well-behaved dog." Edited October 20Oct 20 by HornOnTheBayou

I tried to get through ITYSL last year and only watched a couple of episodes. I did enjoy Detroiters, but that was all because of Sam Richardson.

October 20Oct 20 Author Caught up with the second episode during lunch today. Anybody know how many episodes this is going to be? Can somebody tell me what the absolute fuck was going on in the diner? I'm digging it. Pretty sure Tim Robinson/Ron screaming in the back alley will make for a well-used GIF.

October 27Oct 27 Definitely an odd one with fewer laughs, but I did enjoy the making mistakes party. What was with the bug going into the phone? I figured that would come back up, but it never did.
October 27Oct 27 Fuck you! I'm gonna bring a football every day!!! They really captured the irrational Internet comment section with that segment. This show is like some sort of ITYSL skit mixed with some Twin Peaks, and I find that really quite weird, but I love it.
November 3Nov 3 Still enjoying the strange mix of comedy and dread. There's so much that could be true in his conspiracy theory and so much that seems totally wrong.
November 3Nov 3 The Jeep Tours stuff is hilarious. Disappointed that Lake Bell probably isn’t going to show the goods, but glad she’s in the HBO Family now. I’m sure she’ll get cast in another show. Keep hope alive.
November 6Nov 6 Robinson might possibly be the most annoying person alive. The screaming and mania are sometimes too much. But invested now and I have to find out what the fuck is going on

Haven't watched this, but the skit in ITYSL with Fred Willard as the replacement organ player at the funeral almost made me piss myself

November 8Nov 8 I just cannot stop giggling when I'm watching this show. It's just so dumb. Every single scene has some little detail in it that is just so ridiculous that I can't help but 🤣. He just kept talking about LED screens to show videos of dinosaurs! He just didn't get what I was trying to do!
November 9Nov 9 I love Tim and all of his projectsHis ability to float between cringe comedy and absurdist comedy and now dark comedy with this and Friendship…My wife and I laughed our asses off on the first few episodes.
November 10Nov 10 That final scene was...umm...slightly unexpected. I'm a little high, but I don't think I conjured that image all alone with my brain.

Just a never-ending trail of MacGuffins leading us to the next dead end and a new pile of distractions.
November 10Nov 10 Correct. But absolutely none of it is funny. At this point I’ll just hate watch it until the end.
November 10Nov 10 So Mike Santini is almost stealing every scene he’s in. And also I’m really surprised they went with Bahld Harmon at the talent agency.
