Holy hell, has anybody ever approached the greatness of Ian McShane as Swearengin?

In life you have to do a lot of things you don’t fucking want to do. Many times, that’s what the fuck life is… one vile fucking task after another.

Woo/Sweargin... hing dai!

Deadwood and Seinfeld are tied for me as best television show ever.

and this is fantastic...

I loved Deadwood, but everything with Brian Cox and the theater troupe is a beating.

Fucking hoopleheads.

Garrett Dillahunt is the Deadwood goat.

I didn't get into this series when it first came out, and only just watched it for the first time last month.

McShane as Swearingen is one of those characters so expertly played that I'd be shocked if I met him on the street and he wasn't EXACTLY like the character.

The Dillahunt / Wolcott re-casting threw me off for a while. I kept thinking they were going to reveal it was a twin brother or something.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or fuckin' beatin's. The world ends when you're dead. Until then you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man, and give some back

ah shit.   No idea why it was removed.

Looks like W Earl Brown (Dan Dority) was on a cruise, and a fan noticed him and said hello.  It was a video from Brown and the fan.  They are standing beside each other, and Brown says something like "I never imagined that out here in the middle of the ocean I'd run into a limber-dick cocksucker like this guy, but I did".  The fan smiling ear-to-ear.

It's been a while but watching that dropped my jaw. The cast in that show, so many went on to create other show and performance that I absolutely love for long after. Just wow.

I'd rather touch the moon than take on a whore's thinkin!
