Ohtani let all that greatest ever talk get to his head. 2 games of basically nothing in a row.

I had a feeling he wouldn't look as sharp as usual during game 4 because ran the bases 9 times that morning. See it all the time

This may have been posted above, but if you recall the intense Texas vs ECU super regiona from 2-3 years ago…..Yesavage was on their roster and threw vs Texas.  We touched him up pretty good in the deciding game 3.  He did great in G1 in short relief.

Obligatory:

first 12-k game in the series since El Duque in 2000.

Before that?  Tom Seaver, 1973

So I was thinkin that the team that's behind in Game 6 usually has an advantage in Game 6. The team with 3 wins doesn't have so much pressure, whereas the team with only 2 is in do-or-die mode.

So I was figuring that maybe the Dodgers would pull out all the stops, do everything possible to make sure they win Game 6, and actually be expected to win.

But then. I remembered.

Dave Roberts is still their manager.

Found the following credited to A I while searching for tonight's start time.  " Los Angeles Dodgers facing the Toronto Blue Jays, with the series tied 3-2 following the Blue Jays' victory in Game 5. This game is pivotal, as a win fo".  The world is screwed.

Roberts did ok in game 6 on this same day in 2017.

(although that was with the home crowd behind them)

Betts moved down another spot.  And I like Edman in CF and Rojas at 2B.

This will be very very interesting tonight.

Since I am a Pirates fan (groan) I am a National League guy and am rooting for the Dodgers.

Hopefully their bats wake the fuck up.

Why the Dodgers base running has been so poor.

OH NO😂 Dave Roberts tried to race Hyeseong Kim but the #Dodgers skipper ended up falling on his face😂 https://t.co/V4FcYvKQHP

Legit makes less sense than rooting for SEC SEC SEC teams as a member of the conference

I think we’re going to get a game 7 tomorrow night. Yamamoto is too tough.

Get it to game 7 by any means necessary.  Anything can happen in a one game winner-take-all.  Hell, the Rockies could beat them in a one game scenario.

Game 7 here we come.

Surly is great at calling things early.  Texas goes down 7-0 in the first quarter and the game’s over and everyone should be fired.

As a neutral fan, just give me a game 7, especially tomorrow night after a long day of college football and we go back an hour on the time.
