November 3Nov 3 he's averaging 13.5 FT's a game and shooting at an 80% clip. Its early but will be interesting how his FT's per game trends.
November 4Nov 4 I want to like the Mavs again. I still check the box scores but do not watch. I just don't think I can watch again until Nico is gone. I just cannot stomach it.

I just cannot stomach it. The shame of it is that I like most of these players a lot. Klay is washed and Caleb Martin is not a full time NBA caliber basketball player but the rest of them are terrific supporting cast and for their own good and the franchise I’d like to see everyone older than PJ Washington traded for picks to playoff teams.

If Nico gets canned, I think that's what would happen. But we're going to have to ride this out because he has the Kyrie injury excuse.
November 5Nov 5 Even if Nico gets fired you're still putting money in the pockets of some of the worst people on the entire planet.
November 6Nov 6 I told myself I was going to watch this game with good intentions towards the Mavs but dammit if I’m not enjoying this abortion.
November 6Nov 6 And Nico still has a job while putting together arguably the worst team in the league.
November 6Nov 6 Man…Pelicans are a terrible team on a back-to-back and missing Zion? Holy shit the wheels are about to come off this thing.
November 6Nov 6 Remember when the Mavs got run off the floor by the Spurs on opening night and Wemby destroyed us? Luka just outplayed Wemby and led a pretty mediocre Laker roster to a win over that same team. Basketball doesn't have to be this hard.
November 6Nov 6 The most obvious thing to do at this point is to trade away AD and send Klay to a contender. I'd probably try to get something for Gafford as well. Need to start replenishing picks because we do not have our own 1st rounder after this year until 2031. I'd be okay keeping Kyrie to mentor Flagg, but I would not let him play this year. Need to tank and get another top 3 pick. Next year you roll with (not counting for positions here) Flagg, Kryie, Christie, Lively, PJ, and hopefully a top 3 pick as the core going forward. And who am I kidding? Powell will be there as well.

November 7Nov 7 I assume the only reason Nico hasn’t been fired is that the Adelson’s can’t find him a soft landing at a Foot Locker.
November 7Nov 7 Actually, when Nico's not around I'm pretty sure Adelson and Dumont talk about him the same way the Dukes talked about Billy Ray.
November 8Nov 8 Getting absolutely run off the floor by a bad Memphis team. I think the players have quit.

November 8Nov 8 People really need to stop going to the games. There’s nothing else that will get the attention of the owners at this point. For real, even if offered a free ticket, I’m out at this point. I am one who will go watch a bad team if they are building something. I won’t go watch this. And there’s no hope until Nico is gone.

November 8Nov 8 Remember this when you’re thinking about this roster Nico built: he got lucky as shit to get Cooper Flagg. Imagine if this team didn’t have Flagg. That is the roster he envisioned. Insane.

November 8Nov 8 Further depressing to me is the fact that even after they fire Nico, which will happen this year, I won’t feel any relief or joy aside from him being gone. We still won’t have Luka, we’ll still have an injury prone roster with little compensation and a bleak outlook. How the actual fuck can you put your faith in Anthony and Irving? So I’ll be even more pissed when Nico is axed because he will have come, blown up the franchise, and gone with no cares at all. Fuck that guy forever.
November 8Nov 8 Im less optimistic about firing Nico. But everyone not be Cooper PJ Max and Lively need to be traded.

Fuck that guy forever. firing him lets him off the hook, and some poor sap will be the sacrificial piece who'll also get fired because he can't win instantly with Nicos slop. Therell probably be some compensation package or buyout where he lives a stress free life without having to deal with his mess he created. Sucks your owners are in on it all..or in a perfect world he'd be forced to be sitting amongst the masses every home game, not from some secured tunnel, until Dallas gets another player of Lukas caliber or the ship is righted. Oh well, fun to dream. Edited November 8Nov 8 by MNLonghornFUKM
November 10Nov 10 There's a lot of smoke that Nico is about to be let go. We'll see if it actually happens.
November 10Nov 10 I think Adelson told Nico to trade Luka to the Lakers specifically and to get whatever he could. Any other owner would have fired him by now for literally the worst trade in modern sports history. If it's solely to stop the chants, yeah she's gonna need to pay him off very well or find him a cushy landing spot.
November 10Nov 10 I was talking to my son about that on the way home from school today @'stache. Say that were true. I don't know what kind of man you'd have to be to trade a pretty good reputation as a GM for what (to me) is the worst legacy in the history of professional team management at this point. For someone that is already wealthy (he made a lot of money at Nike and makes plenty with the Mavs), there's no amount of money that would convince me to do that. But then again I'm not a soulless piece of shit so nevermind.
November 11Nov 11 AD will miss his 6th straight game. He's only played in 14 of the 46 possible games lmao.
