Elko is all coach. No slogans. Does anyone remember how Aggy rolled out the crap welcome mat for him after DeBoer said fuck odd and they flew stoops in only to send him back on the tarmac. Aggy got lucky as fuck. This guy likes them. How that works I don’t know but he’s like a fat RC that gets you need an offense.

I mean, we beat them then it leaks that he’s taking the pedo job at the end of season….  They collapse and revert to the norm after getting crushed in the CCG and 1st round.

Sark has major flaws but he’s always prepared for rivalry games.

This is amazing. Harlem Berry has 1 carry for 3 yards in the entire 2nd half. He's 100% going into the portal. LSU has attempted 3 true runs in the entire 2nd half. Talk about stupid playcalling.

Well, they gave up a touchdown on the opening 2nd half drive, 3-out and a punt return TD, then had another short drive and gave up a TD. Not a big surprise they didn’t lean on the run.

Shaq is probably the richest, at about $400 million.

Oh, his 2nd game in the program. Ooops. I was totally wrong.

Texas A&M going BTA in Baton Rouge is another statement in a year full of statements for the Aggies

Mike Elko took over an Texas A&M program that had lost 12 of its previous 17 games against Power 4 opponents. In a year and a half, Elko's turned the Aggies into a legit national title contender that's so fast and physical.
The good news for Texas fans: If you beat A&M it will be among the best high-quality wins in CFB (assuming Texas is still in CFP consideration at that point). The bad news is that A&M is actually really good this year and will be very hard to beat.

I don't get why LSU and Arky always have trouble beating Aggy even when they have the superior teams. They, however, bring their A game when they play us.

With Russian refineries getting blown up, Louisiana's refineries have to be printing money.

No worries, they’ll shut down the bossier city child cancer center or whatever.

LSU has an issue with money donors collectively. I know this bc a former job I had required calling on them. Financially they are in Siberia like Arky.

wow, okay, so they have no excuse to not make their move.  How quickly they jettison this guy is the question.

Elko cracks me up at the quick halftime interviews.  Today he tells Holly “unlocked defensive players need to make tackles”.  No coach speak.  Just facts.

Last week or week before, the sideline reporter says “your defense played a lot of man coverage earlier but then switched to zone later in the half.  Is that a correct assessment?”

“No.”

This is God’s way of paying Kelly back for that kid in the tower. Also he’s an asshole. Outside of a couple of players people have quit on him Mackovic style

He was on a scissor lift.  In 50mph winds.  Just stupid to even have that on the schedule with that weather forecast.

#373

Those 2 portal WR aggy picked up took their offense to the next level. Their O line looked like shit vs ND and look dominant now. We used to make fun of Bison-tits now we’d kill for him.

Let’s beat them and ruin their season.

I question anyone that doesn’t think Elko (despite looking like Ralphie) is a good HC.

So who does LSU hire? I feel like they’re gonna go hard in the southern charm/louisiana guy direction after trying something different with Kelly and it backfiring as hard as possible

Roller coaster getting REAL high this season.

That said they are good. Still don't trust it though.

Who can they afford is the first question. If they do fire Kelly, which I don't think is a given due to financials, they don't have an open checkbook.

A&M has a significantly better team and coaching staff than LSU this year.

LSU and Arkansas are not in the same not only area code but different country when it comes to needing money whipping. If Arkansas wants to whip their dick out on the table they can. LSU can’t.
#388

LSU was a historical mid-teir program prior to Saban. Be a shame if they reverted back.

Sorry. He looks like fat Ralphie from a Christmas story. Plus he would float and be saved. Fucker can coach. And delegate. All the Kiffin dreamers need to take a hard ass look at what Elko and Cignetti can do. Kiffin is a great OC but he’s never touched greatness in terms of winning as one. Good head coaches just are. Kiffin ain’t HIM.

I can’t see LSU ditching Kelly unless some sort of social contagion takes over.  This is gonna be a sellers market for NCAA HCs, you dont fire a coach at this point unless you have to.

The backup plan is more important than the firing. Something we learned after Mack Brown.

Does it really count as a roller coaster season if they make the CFP?

Cignetti would be my number 2 after Lanning. Both get the modern game, NIL, delegation, portal, recruiting and development aspects really, really well.

In this day and age, if you don't already have a top target on contract, you shouldn't fire your coach. Which is why Franklin suprised me. Napier a little too.. but maybe they both already have their guy and we just don't know it.
