October 30Oct 30 One of my friends back in New York mentioned this movie to me and that I should go and see it. Plemons is a favorite of mine so I’m in to see this. I think I’ll have to see it in a standard format because Regal doesn’t have that version here.

Plemons was in Yorgos' last film too or technically an anthology of 3 short films "Kinds of Kindness". His style fits perfectly and wouldn't be surprised if they collaborate further. I think this is Emma's 4th Yorgos film?
October 30Oct 30 Gave me vibes of Todd from BB. Which isn't bad. Such a compelling character. I'd definitely watch this for Plemons.

Gave me vibes of somebody becoming obsessed with a woman and making up a story about her being an alien or paranormal being to convince a bunch of conspiracy idiots to help kidnap her. That never happens in real life.
November 3Nov 3 Saw it Saturday night. Hoo boy that was an interesting ride. Fun to watch and some outside the box thinking makes it worth seeing. I think some of you are either going to really enjoy it or not like it at all. I don't see much middle ground on a film like this. Edited November 3Nov 3 by UpperWestside

Spoiler Suspected twist with the electric shock treatment, emboldened suspension when she found the autopsy room, but lost some faith when they went to her office (calculator, closet, etc).

Spoiler yeah pretty much exactly the same for me except for the shock treatment

Spoiler I think when they went back to headquarters. The whole sequence was wild, but awesome. Plemmons was awesome. He’s so diverse in the roles he can take.

November 5Nov 5 This was really good. Plemmons should take home some hardware. There was one major flaw no one has mentioned…Emma Stone never got naked. The standard has been set. You can’t reneg on your responsibilities now.

November 6Nov 6 Saw it yesterday and really enjoyed it. Stone and Plemons getting after eachother was a lot of fun. It will be interesting to see it again to see if everything tracks.
November 7Nov 7 Considering seeing this on Sunday. Someone said it's depressing - true? I don't get that vibe from the trailer.
