October 30Oct 30 Horrible disease. Speaking from personal experience, ALS and Alzheimers are just torture and heartbreaking to see someone you love or admire go through. And now we are losing the experience of seeing and hearing Marcia Ball ever again to this fucking disease. Prayers for her and her loved ones. This sucks. https://bluesrockreview.com/blues-legend-announces-retirement-following-als-diagnosis/
October 30Oct 30 Having had sex with a woman with ALS, I say… “Fuck ALS in the pussy and in the ass.” …because that’s the way she liked it.
October 30Oct 30 Yeah, I saw that earlier today. Her and Rich Brotherton, same disease, no cure. Sucks.

October 30Oct 30 Shit that sucks. She’s super nice. Gordon is great too - he was telling us one night at dinner how fast he went through the chili money once he sold it. Godspeed Marcia.
October 30Oct 30 a college girlfriend of mine; her dad was this short, wiry Italian guy...completely full of shit (in a good way), with a hot italian temper, kind heart, etc. Avid golfer, great dad. He came down with ALS. I cannot imagine a bigger mismatch between man and affliction. his passing was a blessing to all that knew him, because seeing him in that condition was difficult.
October 30Oct 30 One of my closest cousins’ husband died of ALS a few years ago. That dude was an incredible guy. Horrific disease.I see Marcia is 76. Isn’t that quite a bit later in life than normal for ALS diagnosis. Seems most men get it in their 50’s.
October 30Oct 30 Godspeed, Marcia. Had the pleasure of seeing her a couple of times, puts on a good show and tickles the ivories with the best of them.
October 31Oct 31 That's sad news about Marcia Ball. She certainly knows her way around the keyboard. Would play up a storm while kicking one of her crossed legs to the rhythm. 12 hours ago, ShaggyBevo RIP said: Power of Love was our wedding song back in ‘92. Speaking of weddings, I once saw her play a wedding reception. The groom (who was a friend of a friend) absolutely loved Marcia Ball's music, so they came up with enough $ to get her to play the reception. Unfortunately, things got cut short when the groom hurt himself dancing during the festivities. Edited October 31Oct 31 by Carl Spackler
