Likewise, the phantom holding call against Shannon Sharp, the BS call against Filsaime due to Pavia hugging him out of bounds, or ... I could go on, but I'll stop there. I meant Spencer Shannon. Edit window timed out.
November 1Nov 1 7-2 and I feel like we've played 6 full quarters of football. 2 at OU, 1 at MSU, and 3 today.
November 1Nov 1 The refs absolutely sucked ass in the 2nd half. The 2 pt conversion was absolutely dog shit and the non holding calls were egregious. the defense looked absolutely stupid in the 4th quarter. I’m not exactly sure why PK went full retard, but that was real bad

I get it, but we are also a cunt hair away from bad losses to Kentucky and Miss St. There's something fundamentally wrong with the mental make-up of this squad. I am encouraged with Arch's play of late, so I wont consider any of the remaining game a certain loss. My guess is we lose to UGA and beat piggy and aggy. If that plays out, we'll have to see if its enough.

If we had any semblance of a killer instinct our win would have been about a 14 point victory over #9, and we would most likely be ranked about #12-14 come tomorrow night. Instead we eke out a 3 point victory and end up about #17 at the highest, imo. This team is only going to the playoffs one way, we win all three games remaining. The one really positive thing about this weekend is the players are going into the bye week and they will not be told how great they are for two weeks. Nobody is getting a big head in Austin this week. Also, Texas Tech-#13- is most likely going to lose also. This was the biggest wasted possibility in a long time. You are fantastically bad at this. Like wrong all the way around.

And then so is everyone else the remainder of the drive. Obviously the officials did their part too (Texas -3 ended as a push).
November 1Nov 1 We were down our top 3 safeties in the 4Q, and we got torched by them throwing to the TE. No fucking shit... That is who their best receiver is, and the massive whole in our D with 3 fucking safeties out..

November 1Nov 1 51 minutes ago, JGrayDBU said: How many teams go the playoffs? 12. Is our goal to be in the playoffs? Do we need to be close to the top 12 to get into the playoffs? Yes. You don't magically jump into the top 12 when you are hanging out at #17-20 throughout the month of November. A 10-2 Texas (or 10-3 Texas with SEC title loss) isn’t missing the playoffs, so who gives a fuck what we’re ranked on November 1. 9-3 Texas will be squarely on the bubble no matter what (and probably out). This team fucking around the first two months of the season has left no margin for error.

November 1Nov 1 I’ve never been more convinced games are either fixed by Vegas or the refs are betting after that game. 3 point spread, vandy down 24, refs swallow their whistle and Texas wins by 3. 🤔

JJR was playing real snaps early last season as a true freshman. He has completely disappeared, even in a game where we're missing both starting safeties, and Williams clearly isn't close to being back 100%. That's weird.
November 1Nov 1 3rd and 4, in FG range. 9 min left What does sark call? A bomb to mosely. fucking regardedThis I agree with. We should have gotten the DPI but we were running well and needed to work some more clock as well as force them to burn a TO. Then when things got close, he got ultra conservative. His situational in-game decision making is poor.
November 1Nov 1 I’ll tell you who should never see the field again- #24 on defense and special teams.

They knew it was there, the play was on time, the throw and route was accurate, the DB fucked the play up with a no call obvious to anyone PI. Playing stupidly on defense afterward wasn’t necessarily on the table at that point.
November 1Nov 1 Anyone ever seen someone let an onside kick go through their legs? Until proven otherwise it's the first time in history.

Playing stupidly on defense afterward wasn’t necessarily on the table at that point.Yeah, if we scored(or gotten the obvious PI) I would have still criticized that play in that situation. My point is that’s the play shit started going downhill. Water under the bridge. We need to mentally toughen up as a team(coaches/players) because we cannot play a complete game.

November 1Nov 1 I was a little rough on Akina during the game as he had the top 3 safeties out of the game in the 4th quarter and had to play freshmen and suckasses. That was brutal. Luckily we had banked just enough points to overcome it. Definitely need another bye week now so good timing
