The schedule isn't bad but why can the SEC office not figure out some balance of away/home games? Those idiots are always stacking both for some reason, all the road games in a row and then all the home games.

They are used to scheduling around fan bases with slow moving mobile homes. They get better attendance when the lease only has to be broken once.

It's not a playoff, it's a brand name invitational when teams with more losses are being campaigned for and included based on the brand name while excluding and campaigning against other schools with

  • are some of y’all trying to be “good fans” or “objective” or something when you say that it’s the florida loss that’s keeping us out? cuz y’all know that’s not true right? it’s only been repeated 10,0

Sarkisian went on the SEC morning show today and doubled down on both Texas deserving to be in the playoffs and reconsidering the OOC schedule going forward. He basically said, with the SEC going to 9

They excuse it for being the first game.  For which we lost to Florida only four weeks later.   I guess the first part of the season where you are forgiven is only qualified for the first three or four weeks?  I mean the committee is somewhat doing to same for Norte Dame.

If this committee was fair, someone would ask why they should promote Bama over anyone since FSU did indeed lose to the same Florida team that is being used to keep us out.  Why hasn’t that question been asked by the media or is it by design or order.  Yes I got my tin foil hat on.

Ok so erase losing at #1 Ohio St then. Didnt happen

Essentially what they are doing for Bama with Florida State right now.   The CCG is giving them the out to do so.

Lame.  I wanna play someone we haven’t played recently.

I am afraid the only soul searching Sark would do will involve getting out of marquee non-conference games. He thinks playing in the Swamp or the Shoe is hard. Cignetti on the other hand doesn't flinch no matter who the opponent is.

Cignetti already canceled their “tough”games because the big 10 is a monster from his words. Google it. And by tough game it was Virginia lmao

Texas should absolutely schedule a Hawaii or Puerto Rico game against the next bubble team and not do a bowl game and just call it a wash on the fine from the revenue.

Texas BYU or Texas Miami or Texas ND or Texas Alabama

How fucking sick. It would have insane ratings.

No, it wouldn't.

So by your metric missing out on a "long shot" is getting "hosed".

Got it.

Our other option is Iowa. Fuck any piece of that boring Big 10 bullshit.

He beat tOSU though and Oregon on the road as a second year coach. Not sure what your point is.

Why make it harder on yourself. Take the 3/4 wins. Use as practice reps and tune ups.

If we asked the committee to scrutinize how we looked in each game because the final score doesn’t tell the entire story, they also might look at our games against SJSU, UTSA, UK, and MSU. A reasonable assessment is Texas could knock off a top team but is just as likely to struggle or shit the bed against a lower seed team.

The point was even good teams had the same problem but it’s magnified for Texas. Alabama should have lost to sc. Georgia should have lost to Florida. Many more. Ole miss should lost to Kentucky. None of that matters, just Texas games is the point. No biggie tho. Get em next year

Coached has his teams ready to ball. Props. Nerdy ass qb. But kid can play.

My point was Texas fans should stop sucking his dick. We’ll beat him soon enough

Bama didn't make it last year.  they are in.  I think aggy can beat them.  Deboer is meh.

Cignetti seems smart.  we should hire him.

if only Sark hadn't phoned in gameplanning for Florida, we would be in the playoff

Yeah that was Sark missing wide open guys and dropping passes and interceptions the whole game

Michigan is an easy high profile dub.

If we hang 49 on them and make the committee look like dopes, get a huge TV draw, it’s best case scenario with this bullshit fucked up season.

(Narrator) 9-3 Texas was, in fact, NOT in the playoffs

We should opt out. Fuck the bowls and fuck ESPN.

Cancel tOSU next year, today.

Whoops sorry it’s about the TV deals that paid off blowU broke ass money they owed the rig12 to get out. Texas having to drag the leech parasites again while they make the playoff too after we beat them by 2 scores.

Damn shit fuck

Half of our starters probably won’t even play.

Wow, wow. They still actually put BYU ahead of us, even after yesterday. Committee is completely detached from reality.

They always wanted Bama in, and they did it without even blinking.

I was told moving Miami over ND wasn't logical.

It was the only logical move and that's what happened.

CANCEL the bucees, meatchicken, dohmers games NOW!

Fuck what it costs! Getting in the CFP is worth whatever price!

Schedule Howard Payne, Eastern Washington, Prairie View A&M, LIU-Brooklyn, and Virginia Union in our future schedules NOW!

They had to leave BYU at #11 because it gives them a talking point.

They left Bama at #9 and by leaving BYU at the same place they can say they didn't want to punish teams for losing a conference title game

The last 4 teams were an abject failure. Miami had 2 bad losses and JMU and Tulane are in. Absolutely ridiculous.

Pull up their schedule. It's hilarious. But hurr durr three losses versus two losses.

They’ll expand to 16 teams to protect conference championships, when honestly they should eliminate them AND expand to 16.

It's a moot point but technically they moved BYU down a spot to #12 but that was done 100% so they could put Miami and ND next to each other to justify the flip on the last ranking.

Notre Dame won 3 playoff games last year, including a dogwalking of this year's #1 Indiana. They also have the best player in college football and have won 10 straight games.
